I love the food. And the pupusas are big and yummy. I don't like how the atmosphere is. Probably the restaurant needs to be updated. The service is not that good the ladies need to be more people friendly šŸ˜.

I love all dishes from this restaurant. The seafood soup, pupusas, steak dish, quesadilla and their nachos. I will say that the service is not very good waits are up to 45 minutes for any dish and the waitress only bring you your drinks and food and beverage check up on you. You need to be looking for them if you need something. But like I said they have amazing dishes that are hard to pass on and that's why I am a regular.

The food here is great and well-seasoned! There is a little wait but trust me, itā€™s well worth it. Menu pics as of Jan 2020. Thank me later! Would definitely recommend!

Very authentic Salvadoran pupusas, the best I've had outside El Salvador and for a good price. Nice environment to go with the family and friends, warm and friendly service. Fully recommended

It's usually pretty good. Depends who is cooking I think... one time I got birria tacos that tasted like they were made with soy sauce, the sauce was dark brown/black...but usually it's good.

By far the best pupusas I have tasted in Massachusetts, other than my Godmother's. I have tried several different restaurants that make pupusas but this is the closest I've got to similarities in taste and texture from El Salvador (none can compare to the pupusas from El Cerro de las Pavas, Cojutepeque, El Salvador). The one thing I have noticed is that many restaurants do not add beans to their pupusas "revueltas". If there is no beans, technically they are cheese and chicharron pupusas and not revueltas. They wait for your order is longer than other restaurants, almost double, but the pupusas are worth it

This place is not fast because they are cooking absolutely everything from scratch for you. And you can tell from the taste of the food. Delicious. I usually get a montaƱero (streak, bacon, rice, beans, salad, & tortilla) but I also enjoy their pollo empanizado, and they incredible made to order pupusas. If you are new to pupusas I recommend lorroco con queso or revueltos. Itā€™s really easy to eat way too much here. Their service isnā€™t as fantastic as the food and neither is the physical space.

El Pueblo Viejo makes the most delicious pupusas Iā€™ve tasted so far here in Massachusetts. This is my familyā€™s first option for pupusas. But Iā€™ve also tried some of their Mexican dishes, Iā€™d say their Mexican dishes are not typical Mexican food itā€™s more like Taco Bell. However, this is a great restaurant to take your family. Great service, the ladies are always polite and attentive. I wish I could give 5 stars but you guys need to improve on your Mexican dishes. I do recommend this restaurant.

You know the food is good when the local folks keep the restaurant packed. The food was very good and filling. Enjoyed everything, fajitas with authentic handmade tortillas and natural mango juice. Yum!!!

Good central American fare. Nice staff. If you order pupusas they give you a vat of quick pickled cabbage to serve yourself with. Yum. Good tamales too.
