Great place to watch a sports game. It is THE bar to watch the Philadelphia Eagles in Boston.
Also known to host watches for football fans from University of Michigan. Tons of TVs and great music/after work entertainment on days where there's not a major sporting event. Great food for a reasonable price. Management and staff are all super friendly and keep things moving even when there are big crowds. All in all great time.
I am from South Jersey and I was recommended this place from a friend to go here and watch the Eagles game on Sunday. This was one of the coolest bars I have ever been to I felt like I was in Center City Philadelphia not downtown Boston. I loved the atmosphere of this place, great food and drinks also!
After-work crowd. Nice friendly staff. Good drinks. Good choice of apps. The go-to place for my office. Live music on Thursdays and weekends.
Would have given 5-stars, except that, the said live music tends to get loud and drown out any conversation.
Went to McCool's for a Michigan game (it's a Michigan bar) the crowd was friendly. The bartenders were attentive. The food was okay. And you couldn't walk anywhere without seeing a TV. 🙌🏾
I'll also add that their bathrooms were fairly clean throughout the night.
If you're a young to seasoned professional... It's a solid place to watch a game. There weren't any college students around, which i appreciated.
Im giving it a 4 start for the service only. I went the for after work social event we were a large group and they took good care of us. As far as the appetizers, hmmm....for me it had no taste. We had buffalo pizza, sweet potatoes fries, steak and cheese egg rolls, meatballs and all had a very bland taste. However, I would give it another try.
I was at Finn McCools on Sunday for the Pats game. Was a good scene. It's a relatively new place. The main room is big and roomy but comfortable. Great food and staff. But best part, they have a separate bar in the back tbat is a Caddy Shack movie theme!! Met a couple of the owners. Good dudes. I highly recommend this place!
Great bar with a fantastic atmosphere. Came in for game seven Celtics v cavaliers and had McKayla (spelling?) as our server. Clearly they were understaffed but this girl killed it. It was evident that she was a hard worker and proficient server. The food was ok except for the steak tips which were great. Management needs to staff properly for game nights. Would have had a 3-Star review if it had not been for how much this girl was busting her ass. If you ever need a job in Florida, let me know!
This has got to be the coolest bar in Boston.
They have a wide variety of food, friendly bartenders, and downstairs is a themed game room, with a separate bar, games, props from movies, and really great people.
If that wasn't enough, this is the Official Boston bar for FANS OF THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Stop wasting your time rooting for Tom Brady and the Pats' and come join the real party!
I visit ~1/week
The only word I have for this place is amazing.
We found it by looking in yelp years ago and since then we go every time we are in Boston.
We always plan to get there at 3:45 to make sure we are the first ones in. We have tried many different dishes and they are all delicious.
Nothing but good times to be had here.. Really love that they host the Cleveland Browns Backers & had a ball last season, eventhough the Browns didnt do all that great.. Lookin forward to this upcoming season & good times, good friends.. Cant get enough of their fish & chips..
This bar has a great atmosphere, enough screens to watch a game from any spot you are sitting or standing. Food is really good and service friendly.
Great staff and great service. They've been hosting an Eagles crowd this past year as well, for all those diehards in NE who need a spot to cheer on the BIRDS!
Went for the B's game on Saturday night, everyone was pleasant and attentive. Barry at the door was the highlight of the night, super nice and so inviting!
