Very good, high quality food. Their dishes have interesting combinations such as a burger with homemade jam. Or a brownie with bacon bits. Delicious. There is very limited parking and it is located in an awkward spot were the only downsides. They have cool outdoor seating options and a nice artsy environment. The service was great as well. I was very impressed with the food quality and the flavors were incredible. The drink selection was also very good. Will definitely be back.
We had a great evening with the kids here in Thursday. A screw up on one good order was quick remedied, a sign of a good restaurant. Loved the beers and the food. Or waiter/brewer was also great. Quiet when we arrived at 4:30pm and really busy by the time we left after 6. Five stars for sure, keep it up!

We were on a trip to Nashville for a few days and decided to take a day trip to Kentucky. We hiked the morning in Mammoth Cave National Park and decided to go to Bowling Green for some lunch. We stumbled upon White Squirrel and were so glad we did!
The decor was cool and eclectic. The staff was friendly and inviting. We opted to sit at the bar and enjoy some food and beer. We started with Fried Chicken Skins and they were great. The sauce was definitely hot and spicy, but satisfyingly sweet. Then we went all in for the entrees and ordered the fried chicken and waffles and the hot jam burger. Oh my!!
These were both solid choices and the hot jam burger is an experience I may never have again. Amazing! Coming from California, this rivaled some of our best Brewery pubs and we had an awesome time. We chatted with the bar tender and could have sat for hours talking about local traditions, beer and food. They were out of pint glasses at the time or we would have bought some to take home, but we opted for white squirrel stickers.
A great brewery and fantastic food. One to put on your list for sure.

TLDR: A worthwhile visit, good service, good food, excellent value!
We decided to come here as we had some time between tours at Mammoth Caves and we are very glad we did! The food and drink prices were extremely reasonable (we're going by NYC standards here!). The food was good! We got the Breakfast Poutine, Faaancy Chicken & Biscuit , Fried Chicken & Waffles, and the Huevos Rancheros. The chicken and waffles was the standout - very flavorful and paired so well with the blueberry syrup! I would skip the poutine next time; good to share but not as a single entree.
We also ordered some drinks; we got the beer flight, and two cocktails - one was a strawberry lemonade cocktail and the other was a blueberry cocktail. All were quite good! my favorite was the strawberry lemonade one - and they don't skimp on the liquor either!
The ambiance was nice, casual and lots of funky art around. We were lucky to have some live music when we came and experience some Kentucky blue grass. Nice service, friendly and attentive.
White Squirrel was fantastic. So sorry we could not order more from the menu to share. Very different menu Soo good. I heard about the Hot jam burger and did a food dance. Family chastised me. Waitress said she wanted to serve food to people who were having fun and excited. "Yes! I have freedom in Jesus and the White Squirrel!" Everything was fantastic from home made pickles made just for a side for the weekly special to the kids pizza. Ashley took great care with us, cleaned the spilled milk off the floor herself and laughed with us. Eat here
Very delicious food options for a brewery!!! We had almost every option for appetizers on the menu and finished it off with some fries and a hot chicken sandwich! It wasn't very hot in my opinion and I can't handle hot food, but it was perfectly cooked atop the Texas Toast!
On appetizer menu I highly recommend the chicken wings and chicken skins!
This is one of my absolute favorite places in Bowling Green. I try to stop in on every visit. The beer is great, the food is great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for anything more!
This was the first suggestion on Yelp for the area. Once we read the reviews we immediately set the GPS. Great place. Good beer with amazing food. Very charming clean and intimate, snd well suited for kids.
