My son said we might like the place. Loved it! As much for the atmosphere and decor, as for the food, which was really good, by the way. Would definitely recommend Roost as a nice little stop while in Bozeman.
This place came highly recommended and did not disappoint! Chicken was delicious, as were the sauces. As for the sides... they take mac n cheese to a whole new level. Can't wait to go back!

I’ve been here just for the occasional lunch or dinner and they are always really good. This time, I ended up placing an order for 60 people and they were AMAZING. The food was super fresh, the service was awesome, and it was all boxed up and they even loaded it into my car for me! I’m super impressed and will definitely be back for more.

Food was great. Most of the staff were friendly and courteous. The young lady taking orders,however, needs to make a trip to the kitchen to to find out what they serve and how it's cooked. I was also puzzled by the rationing of ice.The biggest disappointment was the tea.That IS NOT sweet tea! Lol

Great service and the food was so tasty! Light yet crispy waffles dusted with snowy powdered sugar paired with savory chicken breaded and fried to perfection. The beautiful combination of sweet and savory brings a tear to my eye as I remember it fondly from hours away. 10/10 would eat again.

Being from the south and just moving here to Bozeman, it made me feel like I was home. Best fried chicken and Mac n cheese I've had in a long time!

Their Nashville Hot Fried Chicken damn near killed me--and I mean that as a compliment. Each bite was a painful delicacy for the first half of the meal. Flavourfully destroying my mucous membranes as I chewed. By the second piece of chicken, I could no longer feel my face and I could smell colours. Honestly, the best damn feed of chicken I've had outside of Tennessee, and I travel a lot for work.
Oh, and remember to order a side of biscuits. Trust me. Your body will thank you in the morning.

Roost fried Chicken was pretty good. The kids especially loved it. While it was not my favorite fried chicken of all time I would not hesitate to come back. I had the sweet heat and it was pretty good. The location and facility was pretty great and It had a good atmosphere. I wish I could have tried all the different sauces.

Got the chicken and waffles with the “sweet heat” flavor. Chicken was absolutely phenomenal and I was stuffed by the end of the meal. A bit spicy with a good sweetness and super juicy.
Also got a side of the macaroni and cheese and biscuits. The macaroni was good but nothing exceptional. The biscuits were on the blander side but make a great vehicle for sopping up juices.
Overall would recommend!
I love a place that does one thing and does it great. It goes without saying that the chicken is great but I'd say the tenders were the surprising one. I figured tenders are tenders but these were better than any other I've had. We had a group of four so a variety of sides. They were all good and we all had a different favorite so kind of depends on what you like. The okra was amazing, the collard greens are on the vinegar side, but probably the highlight of appetizers were the pork rinds. That was not my choice but I decided to try them and they were pretty amazing. Not greasy at all. If you're considering the pork rinds, do yourself a favor and just order them!
Super good! Best place to eat in Bozeman! We met the owner and he was super nice. Chicken had good flavor, biscuits were the best I’ve had in my entire life, mashed potatoes were real with the skin on and my son loved it! It was pretty busy but our food came out quick. Highly recommend!
