The food was tasty, with a variety of dishes that pleased my palate. From savory dumplings to flavorful stir-fries, the menu offered a wide range of options that catered to different tastes. The service was attentive and friendly. The staff was quick to take our orders and accommodate special requests. It was evident that they aimed to make our dining experience enjoyable. The ambiance was pleasant, creating a relaxed atmosphere for our meal. However, I'm withholding the fifth star as I believe there's room for improvement in the restaurant's decor and overall atmosphere to make it even more inviting. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for its delicious cuisine and friendly service. It's a great spot for those looking to savor some authentic Chinese flavors.

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was so so delicious. I got to try 8 different things and was pleasantly surprised with all of them. My favorite is the shrimp rice roll. Or the baked BBQ buns. Can't decide! Went in hungry and left super satisfied.

Good sized portions, amazing taro! Go for the dim sum for sure, but their other menu items are great too. The bird's nest is a bit too salty for our taste but the size of the dish was great for the price. Quick service. Great place to stop in for a quick meal that will actually leave you feeling full.

We had the dishes come in different waves and shared them family style. Everything was very timely and SUPER good! Also very affordable and comforting.

Lived in Hawaii where dim sum is at every corner in Chinatown. Excited to have found a place that’s as good and definitely authentic. Our favorites: Shanghai style dumplings - these are pork with the juices inside. It’s very hot but I recommend eating the whole thing so you can get all of the juices from the meat. Delicately seasoned and delicious. Pork siu mai - can’t go wrong. Pork buns - sweet and savory with a crispy outside. Outstandingly delicious. Egg tart - perfectly flaky crust and moist custardy center. Some dim sum items are only available at lunch. Price is reasonable for the serving size since it’s dim sum. Definitely coming back for more.

Dim Sum was so good. Never thought I could eat these here in Sarasota. Noodles were not enough my taste😆I cook a little better one with my rice noodles. I will be back for other dim sum dishes soon, for sure! Appreciate my friend who taught me this restaurant.

The food tastes good, should go ahead as you have to wait at least 10 to 20 minutes to get a table. But the food is fast, the service is quite professional, because this restaurant sells well, so the staff work fluently. Considered an ok dim sum, the price is in the middle range. I like that you use a magic pen. Mark down the menu that we want to eat. Drinking water is refilled, but the dumplings are a bit ice. Think that if there is a chance, will come again

Since moving to Florida last year, I've been looking for a great Chinese restaurant. I finally found one, and they serve Dim sum! The food was amazing. The siu mai (shrimp and pork dumplings), hagao (shrimp only), chive dumplings, baked pork buns, barbecue pork and the broccoli were all delicious. We ordered a house special fried rice for the table and it was outstanding. My sister was visiting from out of town and also loved this place. By the way, the service was efficient and friendly. I definitely recommend and I will be back!

Delicious!!! So many fun dim sum items from which to choose. Each order is around $6 and comes with three pieces. We had the steamed shrimp and pork dumplings (sooo good), shrimp stuffed jalapeños (super spicy AND delicious), baked bbq buns (donut dough meets bbq - astounding), fried shrimp balls (not my favorite but others loved it - too dense for me), and regular pan fried pork dumplings. Creme brulée dim sum tarts for dinner was a perfect ending. I hate pie crust, but this was light and fluffy with a not-too-sweet filling. They really know what their doing! Don't miss the Chow Fun made with homemade noodles they make daily. Also very reasonably priced beer, wine, and sake. We went at 6 on a Wednesday. Small restaurant already filling up, but we got a table.

Update: Still loving this restaurant, servers and especially their din sum. Wonderful. We went there for Dim Sum as we are fans but if you're unfamiliar with it they also have other traditional Chinese dishes. Their Dim Sum is excellent - one of the best in the places we've lived in the USA and certainly the best in the Suncoast. I had Dim Sum for many years while living in Bangkok Thailand and this is very similar. A good place to go and while there, order one Dim Sum dish to try as they're small plates and you may be surprised how much you enjoy it. It's offered for dinner as well as the traditional lunchtime.

Every time I come here, there are ALWAYS other people of Asian heritage dining in, multiple groups. That tells you something. Truthfully, the name is accurate. I love the dim sum here because the quality is comparable to the places in Chinatowns in metro areas. You order it with using the marker at the table and marking the laminated card that describes each dish with the price. It's actually hard for me to try a new dim sum dish because there are many of the classic dishes I have to get every time. Recommendations include: siu mai, fried taro, turnip cake, crispy baked pork bbq bun, Portuguese style cream tart, and pineapple buns. If you find you don't like dim sum, then you could still order from the regular menu too. It's all so good that I make an exceptionally rare exception for this place, one time a year.

Nice food, but they were out of the food we wanted to try. There was also some miscommunication, they missed quite a few of our orders. We ordered 3 bowls of rice coz there were 3 of us, they only listed one. We ordered 2 orders of shumai, they only listed one. We didn't get charged coz they didn't list it in the 1st place, but wish they confirmed what they had listed to make sure they got everything right.

We really enjoyed our dining experience at DimSum King in Bradenton. When we arrived at 5.30, there were a few people there and by the time we left the restaurant was full and a wait. The restaurant is quiet, so it’s the perfect spot for conversation. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We ordered dumplings, potstickers, parsnips, tofu, jalapeño stuffed with shrimp! The food was delicious, very very tasty. The prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

Good food a little bland for my taste, but I love very flavorful food, a very small extra charge for the rice because is not included with your food, average place

The food here is incredible, quick friendly service. There wasn't a dish I didn't enjoy the table was full. Just here for an out of state vacation, might even hit this spot again before the week is over!

The dim sum here at DimSum King is actually not bad. Everything comes out rather quick and timely. For dine-in, it wasn't too crowded, and the traffic of people going in and out was good. It did take a few moments to be seated, and that was due to the fact only two employees were on the floor. Overall, I enjoyed it. Could it be improved? Sure, but I am only eating the food, so how would I know? Check it though, maybe you'll enjoy it.
