Pizza was great!!! The cheese and sauce were bomb! I got spaghetti too, it was ok. The sauce could have been thicker, the sausages were good.. And the salad 🥗 was alright as well.. This place is good, but it takes a lot for me to say Italian restaurants are are excellent.. it is a solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I bought a family pack and a large pizza and it was around $60..

I ordered their porsciutto sub, regular calzone with mozzarella and pepperoni, wow!!! Good will be coming here more often. Good “homely” service.

Cute place. Inside is cozy but feels like it was intended for picking up take-out orders. OUTSIDE however feels like a family BBQ. Just the right amount of shade and breeze. Not cut off from the restaurant, so the service is still attentive.

Never been here before. Ordered pizza to go to try one out. Pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, red onion. Was really good, wife agreed. As a side note. Reheated next day in toaster oven was even better. Next time will try something like lasagna perhaps. Recommended to try out.

The only thing better than the service was the food! The 5 of us were each so impressed that we were urging each other to taste what we had ordered. I'm already planning on going back.

Portofino has some of the best pizza you can find anywhere! I also recommend the chicken picatta, the meatball sandwich…. in fact, there isn’t anything on the menu that isn’t excellent. The very best part of dining at Portofino is the wonderful atmosphere Nick and his family have created. You have to give it. try….. like eating in a family trattoria in Italy!

They used to have a large restaurant in LA Habra and then moved to a much smaller place in Brea. The food is still as excellent, but I always get my food to go now. I have ordered there twice this week. The pizza is always a family hit as well as the homemade pasta dishes. It just depends on what you are craving.

Family operations, small inside with big plates. Good vegetarian options. Helpful owners and great cooking. Clean and cute spot. Try not to eat to much bread. Ask questions and they accommodate. Cooked with olive oil. If your vegan ask away and they can make a wonderful vegetable melody. Stop by and try!!!

Best Italian food ever!!! I had the eggplant parm and my boyfriend had the fettuccini de la casa. Both were out of this world! The service was top notch- friendly and fast. We had spumoni ice cream for dessert. yum! We will definitely return!

I've been working at Portofino for about a week and I can honestly say I appreciate the taste of every dish salad, and bread made in here. I do not cook nor serve but I have witnessed the family vibe. The staff is either a relative or an employee of at least twenty years. Everything is made fresh, from the meatballs to the Tiramisu, served generously and with true love. This family enjoys making food for their customers. I can see it in the cooks preparing the authentic dishes with a timer so that the food is never over cooked, I experience it with the generous variety of food I am offered during my shift, and I get the honor of listening to this family express such respect for each other throughout my shift. The Owner is front of the house and engages with the patrons, it's really nice to see. Not until you experience that - you won't know the difference between good and poor service. Their passion for the community is beautiful. They cater and work long hours to serve arriving as early as 7 am to make fresh dishes. It's a rather intimate experience to witness how much each and every one of them genuinely love to cook and serve.

Noticed this place yesterday and decided to pop in. Staff are extremely friendly. One scan of their menu and I knew I'd like this restaurant. Menu items have many authentic Italian dishes. Tried the Lasagna with pumpkin soup and a side salad. Lasagna was fresh with generous ricotta cheese. Staff gave me extra bread. Little touches like that help endear a restaurant to their customers. I'll be back for sure!

We have loved Portofino's for years a t the La Habra location. We found them in Brea quite by accident. We are very glad we did. So far, we have enjoyed everything we've had here. The 🍅 sauce in the Ravoli and lasagna is wonderful. It's like a plate of sunshine. Granted the place is small and can get very busy so you have to plan accordingly. Eating here is like eating in that charming, unassuming place im a small town in Italy. Very much to my liking. If you don't, you don't know how to eat Italian!

Small space but friendly staff and above average food. The bread was fresh and the sauce was excellent but the chicken parmesan was a little dry and the salad was lackluster. Good Italian place where there isn't another one close by.
