I have tasted Carol's food since she had a place on the Post Rd in Fairfield a couple of decades ago. I have also had it at many fundraising events. This was the first time that I had an opportunity to utilize her catering services. The food was delicious and well presented. The salad with the watermelon and feta was out of this world. This was part of a reception for a funeral. While it was technically a lunch, it was more of a dinner... shrimp cocktail, chicken piccata, filet, pasta, roasted veggies, salad, coffee and dessert. At the last minute, I had a panic attack that we would not have enough food because we might have more people than anticipated. She upped the amount of food at my request from 75 to 100 people, a day or two before the event. We never ran out of food as a result. I was very pleased.
Amazing on all counts! From appetizers to dessert, everything was to perfection. My favorites were the oven roasted potatoes and the eggplant parmesan but honestly every bite was delicious. Carol prepares with love, especially on this occasion. Thank you Carol.
My husband threw me the most amazing dinner party here! It’s such an intimate place with AMAZING food! A very unique place to have a dinner party, we will definitely be back!
I've eaten the best Osso Bucco at Along Came Carol!! It was delicious and the creamy polenta paired with it was out of this world! The desert was light and tasty!! 5 stars!!

We had an "after" holiday party at the Nook, let's just say it was an amazingly delicious meal from start to finish . I highly recommend Along Came Carol for any soirée.

Celebrated my Father-in-Law's 100th birthday but he was not the star of the party,,, it was the incredible Strawberry Shortcake prepared by Carol of Along Came Carol. A million thanks Carol and Mark.
The Mediterranean seafood pasta was insanely delicious! The generous amount of seafood was super fresh and each noodle was perfectly coated with that amazing sauce! I couldn't help myself and had to use the fresh baked bread to soak up all that yummy goodness! The service was impeccable, very friendly and super attentive. Loved the ambience, very cozy and intimate! We left there with warm bellies and warm hearts! I was completely blown away with the amount of food served for our 4 course lunch and it was only $25. Thank you Carol & Mark for an amazing lunch! Can't wait to be back soon!
Another fabulous Friday night dinner at The Nook. We love it, Carol's food is amazing as is the space and the atmosphere. Bravo!!

Carol did a beautiful job for my wedding dinner. We had delicious beef wellington and Salmon. Plus, coconut shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes and homemade pigs in a blanket. It was beautifully presented and delicious!
Carol of course never disappoints, IMO she is one of THE best chefs around! So glad she is back. We picked up the Butternut Squash Soup that WAS amazing. The Mediterranean Quiche was wonderful and the Pumpkin Pie was the best we ever had, seriously. My neighbors said her cream spinach was amazing, check her out!!! Thanks Carol.
The best pumpkin pie - hands down! Not sure of the spices used but incredible! Also butternut squash soup and quiche out of this world! Looking forward to more offerings by the dish as takeout.
Tonight’s Dining Adventure takes us to Along Came Carol Catering & The Nook for an absolutely incredible fine dining experience! Wow, each course more scrumptious than the previous. The only regret I have is that I didn’t come here earlier. This is a Restaurants USA highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ restaurant! And when you come here, remember to tell Carol Lentini that you heard about her on Restaurants USA!
It has the best food I have ever consistently had for many years. I have followed them around and this woman has a fork and a knife in her blood she is talented. Don't miss the Nook at Along Came Carol you won't be disappointed!
This was possibly the best meal I've ever had. We were there last night for Italian night and everything was out of sight. Every single course I found myself saying this is the best--whatever it was I was eating at the moment--I've ever had in my life. 75$ per person may sound like a lot, but with the quality and quantity of food, plus the fact that you can BYOB with no corkage fee makes this place completely worth it. We're bringing all of our friends here.
Five stars all around. Carol runs a good show and you can tell she makes her food with love. Highly recommend.
