Eggs Over Easy to Lamb Stew. One of the most divine things about living in New York City is its diners. Everyone knows this. George's is a classic Greek Diner that churns out the best eggs over easy and Greek Specials. Their specials are always served with a cold Greek Salad, a cup of chicken noodle soup and a basket filled with bread sticks and Portuguese bread rolls. The side of potatoes on the breakfast menu is greasy in just the right way and they don't burn their bacon unlike a lot of other close by diners. George's has a great counter. You can imagine going there as a member of their friendly "breakfast club." I would stroll in, greet the waiter tending the counter, order a coffee and two eggs over easy with an English muffin, then unfurl my copy of The Daily News...ah....paradise found at George's! When you want to take guests to George's, they have a sunny, glassed-in solarium...perfect for watching Bronx pedestrians as they strut by this busy corner location. One thing you can afford to miss is dessert. The restaurant is located within walking distance to three awesome local bakeries. So, skip the cheesecake and head next store.
Great food with great service can't really go wrong with anything and they have a large menu .

I went yesterday with a female friend at 12:30PM, Saturday December 2, 2023. Excellent food, calm family atmosphere. The only annoying thing is that the waitress kept asking, " more coffee, more coffee"? Other than that I love this diner. Great to take parents, girlfriend etc.

Great coffee, great service, and the food was awesome. This place will give you the feel of a traditional diner. The omelettes rock and the atmosphere is pleasant.
I was there with a female date/ friend at 12pm. The girls were so kind, service was great, and they made sure we had all.

Friendly waiters , high chair for toddler clean, even brought out a lil juice box for toddler, very clean seating, inviting place, big plate, food was delish 😋 , coffee wasn't watered down was great , thank you for your service

Portion size, price, and taste are all stellar. One of the best diners I’ve been to in NYC. Fry portion in particular is generous. Here’s the philly cheese steak with plenty of meat. Love it!
Amazing a must visit! I had the pastrami sandwich and was blown away that's it's still this good all these years later family had the pancakes, waffles with fruit home fries all were delicious.

It’s the neighborhood diner. Food and servers are great. They remember who you are and what is ordered. The prices and serving are good
