This place looked ordinary, but the Pho was fantastic. The broth was tasty, with generous portions of noodles, and the meat was fresh. Service was a bit slow, probably because everything was made with care. Just a heads up, it could get smoky inside, so maybe avoiding wearing new clothes was a good idea. It was worth the visit for great Pho.

Food is delish, restroom is awful. The spicy beef broth was my fav! ❤️ sorry for the terrible photo, I started eating before I thought about a review.

The Vietnamese food is excellent. A welcome addition to the Bronx. I agree with another reviewer, the tables need a good cleaning. The pathway to the bathroom is cluttered. Maybe a new paintjob on the walls to bring it up a notch. But other than that, the food was good & they got an "A" from the NYC restaurant inspection.

Best Authentic Vietnamese Restaurant for lunch! Spicy Wings with lime, sweet, spicy, sour and savory with a kick. The kitchen staff are super talented and pay attention to aromatics. Sandwiches are delicious. Pho Ga; Chicken Noodles Soup hit the spot for comfort food. Perfectly cooked noodles in broth. Best Vietnamese spot for lunch in the 5 boroughs. Popular space for the locals. You need a sweet wake up, get the Sweetened Ice Coffee. Great quality. Sooo Good!

Everything is so good! I forgot to take a picture of the grilled pork sandwich as I finished it too fast! Service is fast, food is freshly made and delicious. So didn’t expect to find such an Asian food gem deep in the Bronx!

I visited this restaurant once for take out. After this i have repeatedly ordered delivery from here. I love the food from here. My family and i have tried the following items from there: Crispy spring rolls Brisket with bone marrow banh mi Hot wing rice bowl Fresh lemon lime soda Braised beef stew bo kho Steak banh mi Combination noodle salad bowl Grilled steak rice bowl All of these items are absolutely amazing. I love the food from here. It's consistent in terms of quantity, quality and taste. I love it. The crispy spring rolls are my favorite item. They are fried with a nice crunch to them. Its served with an amazing fish sauce. With mint and also lettuce. I usually combine them all into a wrap and dip it into the sauce. It's really delicious and i highly recommend it. The bahn mi sandwiches are really good here as well. The braised beef one actually has stands of shredded beef. Its super tender and delicious. You can see the pieces of the bone marrow. The grilled steak is also good as well. The braised beef is my fav though. All sandwiches come with jalapeños, Cilantro and pickled carrots. The bread is perfect. Its strong enough to hold up all of those juices and favors from the sandwich. I also usually get mines topped with a fried egg. My husband and daughter love the rice bowls. They have ordered the hot wings and grilled beef bowls. The hot wings i have personally tasted. They are not spicy. They are soooo crispy and have a great taste. The braised beef stew had a great flavor. Its a real hearty soup and had chunks and shreads of beef. Amazing. The broth was flavorful as well. It came delivered with the noodles separated from the broth. I was about to eat the broth up and added the noodles to the soup. It ended up softening up. It was okay but i am sure that at the restaurant it can be amazing. I feel like once you reheat the noodles its not the same. I have tried the lemon lime soda. It is delicious. My kid also loves it. I definitely recommend this restaurant. It will continue to be a regular in my household.

Vegan pho was one of the best I ever had, chock full of broccoli, cabbage, and bok choy. Ask for their spicy garlic sauce.

Home style Vietnamese cooking in a no frills shop. Pho is excellent as are the rice bowls. Service is fast and polite. One of the few options for fans of Vietnamese in the borough. Didn’t like the “regular” banh mi sandwich - the meat was processed and I was expecting pork chop or pork belly.

Came here for bun bo hue but fall in love with their cha gio (crispy spring roll) instead!! I love how they add kuchai to the rolls for some extra flavor. The beef steak on com tam surprised me as well with its rich lemongrass taste. This is just my favorite kind of restaurant: unassuming, homey, good food. I’d be happy to come back and try as many items from the menu as possible!

Hidden gem in the Bronx! Authentic Vietnamese food in a small, family owned restaurant. Very casual, small tables, open kitchen. Ordered a few appetizers to share, the spring rolls were delicious, as well as the sandwiches. The beef Pho was too sweet for us, but the chicken Pho blew our minds!!! Bubble tea is very tasty. Prices are low.

Delicious food, generous portions and excellent service! Our server, Chi was very accommodating, helpful and gracious. The entire staff was quite welcoming and made us feel like we were welcomed into their home. This was definitely a much needed surprise of a restaurant a true hidden gem in the Bronx! The pork belly was tender and very flavorful, the caramelized sauce was excellent with just the right amount of sweet to savory. The boiled egg was packed with flavor and the rice was cooked to a perfect sticky consistency. Enough cannot be said about the crispy spring rolls - they were a showstopper- the crispy wrapper was fried to perfection and complimented the jam packed center of delicious pork and scallions ginger and magic. The beef stew was hearty and generous with noodles and chunks of melt in your mouth beef, carrots and a beautiful tomato broth. The Pho soup was equally satisfying although the beef ball was not to my personal liking, the rest of the variety of meats were excellent. The broth was outstanding and had a clean flavor that was nothing short of amazing.

Took them a while to get to our table, the lighting could be better and the was a fly bothering us the whole time. But those are just the areas of improvement The food was amazing and everybody seemed happy with what they got. I'm definitely coming back here and would recommend it.

Forget every vietnamese restaurant in Manhattan. Yes, even Nha Trang. Their food is only “ok” in comparison to this spot and actually somewhat bland. This is the BEST bun bo hue I’ve had in my life, short of my own mama’s. The only thing that was missing was a heavy lemongrass flavor. I knew they were the real deal when they brought out the sate for me. No, it wasn’t sambal! It was REAL homemade sate!!!! The pho broth was rich and flavorful. I don’t see that often anymore. It was absolutely delicious. A beautiful, clear broth! Chicken wings were NOT spicy but they were freshly fried and delicious. The crust on it rivaled Korean Fried Chicken. How they made it so juicy and fresh, I’ll never know. It was sweet and savory. The spring rolls were pretty good. I mixed hot sriracha with the peanut sauce. I wish these places added more shrimp but I get it. We also got two thai iced teas which were on the sweet side, if you like that. Shockingly enough, the service in this hole in the wall is actually really good. You know how most vietnamese places will ignore you, but you don’t care because the food is delicious? They will actually come to your table if you politely wave them down. BRING CASH FOR TIPS!!!

Wow… the flavor of their food really blew me away. The beef pho is exceptional, and a great choice for the fall. I will continue to be loyal to this place for as long as I am allowed. Thank you for this experience!!

The food is insanely good - wow. Get the beef broth and the fried pork rolls. Service is fast and responsive in this tiny restaurant. Decor is kind of like a dive, definitely not nice, which ends up feeling like you're in on a secret fantastic place.
