The food was delicious and the service was top notch. I had just a simple salad but it was great. They added tiny pieces of mango that enhances the taste of the salad and I was very satisfied 🥗. Their grilled chicken is to die for and I highly recommend it. Add it to your salad and you won't regret it. The portions are huge so share if you must.

Went to eat with my family I love the service although the food took a little bit of time to arrive everything was good. Very clean and it has a very modern kick to the Mexican food and although it is yummy I was looking for a more traditional taste. I will recommend because you will still have a good meal.

Best Ceviche I've ever had!! Great service, comfy ambience, overall very pleasant experience. The chef has created a brilliant menu mixing the new with the old, infusing traditional Mexican food with a gourmet quality!! Highly recommend a trip to this cozy spot.

One☝🏾First of all! Hot and on time....the chicken and the beans are so flavorful...costumer service and hospitality is always warm and welcoming...the hostess was very aware of the menu and was able to suggest nice refreshing in-house beverages...there was also very generous variety of musical selections as I ate...🎼. Although it was a very relaxing environment, there was never a dull moment, customers seem to enjoy take out as well. Every one worked as a team together...the head chef himself came out to ask how was everything...I definitely vote 5 out of 5 stars 🤩....

Delicious food! I am vegan and they were able to accommodate my appetite! Beautiful grilled veggies (squash, peppers, mushroom and corn) with rice and black beans and a side of freshly made guac! The food was tasty, light yet fulfilling! I highly recommend this place to satisfy your taste buds!

I would've have given 5 stars but they don't have a liquor license yet. It's a quaint spot in the "piano district" of the South Bronx. The food was on point and the waitress was great. Her name is Adriana, If memory serves me well. Try the fresh juice and guac! 😋

Stopped by for dinner and it was great! The food tasted great! The shrimp tacos are by far my favorite. Server was attentive and answered all my questions. Can't wait for them to get their liquor license!

I absolutely LOVE this place. THE FOOD IS AMAZING! Been there at least once a week for the last four weeks! Brunch menu is so good, although no alcohol is served. Nonetheless, the food and friendly atmosphere more than makes up for it. Definitely worth going if you haven't been yet! Did I mention how good the food is?? #sogood

Absolutely phenomenal! I came here with some coworkers and teenagers... One of whom is REALLY picky. Not only did everyone looooove the food, we all were impressed with the presentation. The staff were attentive and still allowed us to feel relaxed and enjoy our time. I already have plans to go back.

Was way above our expectations! Great presentation, everything was well cooked and had lots of flavor. The dishes had modern twists which was unexpected: chimichanga app was a beautiful plate of 4 minis. Tres leches buttermilk pancakes were the perfect pancake, not too sweet with the cutest presentation. Must visit for upscale Mexican food!

Today I was meeting with customers in the area and we decided to try this restaurant out. Habenero sits on the corner of Lincoln Ave and 134th Street in the Bronx. Didn't know what to expect but the menu looked interesting and pricing was reasonable so we took a chance. I'm SOOOOO glad we did because the food was amazing! I ordered 3 different types of Tacos....Al Pastor (Marinated Roast Pork), Carne Asada with Poblano Sauce and Camarones Crujientes, Enchipotlados w/Pico de Mango (Fried Shrimp with Chipotle Sauce with Mango Salsa). Sweet, Spicy and Savory...my three tacos came with 6 corn tortillas and enough to fill all! My co-worker ordered the Chicken Stew Tostados. Along with drinks we spent around $25 plus tip. Definitely would recommend this place!

This is a new Mexican joint. The place is small but very clean. Food is great and staff, especially the manager, is very friendly. I hope word of mouth help make it a place that can really light up the South Bronx.
