I recently took my Mom there for her birthday. Honestly, the food reminded me of what I had at my aunt's house growing up. The Pollo guisado was seriously authentic. Well-seasoned like the real McCoy I enjoyed as a kid. The bistec encebollado was the best that I ever had. Tender and flavorful with delicious onions. The habichuelas guisadas were spot-on. For dessert we had flan. We got an unexpected surprise right before the check. The servers all serenaded my mom and sang her happy birthday Dominican style!
A wonderful experience overall and I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic homestyle cuisine.

Every one have a different opinion and experience in certain places. All businesses do their best for their customers but sometimes you don’t fulfill their expectations and that’s aceptable. I think you can’t go by others thoughts , you have to live it first and then give your own opinion. Even if you try to make things right a 100% there will always be a negative or bad opinion behind it. Every single customer is really appreciate in any kind of business .

El Valle the best restaurant in town the best food always fresh, big portion good prices the staff friendly the girls when I go there they make me fill like I'm eating at home that's how nice they are and the best in customers relations the restaurant beautiful and clean and the bathroom too I recommended to everyone you want a good lunch at reasonable price come see el Valle restaurant 3535 Jerome ave and gun hill. Take my advice I'm a retired hotel chef .

This is my fave restaurant on ubereats...the pernil, stew chicken and beans are delicious. My only complaint is they’re always out of potato salad when I order from the app, they always have to call to substitute it for something else. Other than that no issues, I’ve never been to the restaurant but they’re in my faves on ubereats.
