The food was delicious, and the services was great, I will comeback to eat more. It was funny, cause I asked the lady for a COKE to drink, and she said PEPSI OK. LOL. I came back food is delicious guys, you should try this place. Lots of varieties of food π and the price is right. π
This restaurant is old yet remains the longest standing restaurant in Brooklyn Center. The foods are super delicious if you are into asian cuisines. π It's small yet cozy.
Some cons are, the staff talks loudly as if they are arguing with each other. Yelling from across the room, which is unprofessional and brings disturbance to the peace of the restaurant .π€
I usually go for the Mongolian grill and my kids eat seafood and others . Sometimes good sometimes bad. But they have good prices for overflow party tray for you.
We ate mid afternoon. The food was good but I bet it would be fresher during busy times. They offered a nice variety of options on the buffet. They also offered Mongolian bowls and Pho made to order included in the buffet price. Drinks and fortune cookies were also included.
I havenβt been here since before Covid. I was hesitant because of bad reviews. I went right after they opened and the food was abundant, hot and just as delicious as I remember. The staff is friendly and responsive. They have the best Walnut Shrimp and Lo Mein that I have ever had anywhere. I will definately be going back.
Bathroom needs work but the food was great as are those thar work here.
If your looking for a small quiet place to go and actually hear the person you went with this is the place food is excellent staff is good worth checking out
Authentic Chinese buffet in Brooklyn Center, New King Buffet has all the popular menu items plus desserts so you're sure to leave having gotten your moneies worth. Just browse the buffet, pay, they bring your beverage of choice, Pepsi products, Dr. Pepper, tea, water. You can help yourself to the fresh made buffet including salad bar, fruit, hot and sour soup, egg drop soup. Plenty of seating, plenty of parking. They also have some items for sale on the way in, check it out.
Better than I expected after reading other reviews. My guess is the restaurant is trying to keep a few more of the expensive items (beef, squid, boneless ribs) that other buffets have dropped off their lunch menu, and to compensate they've kept staffing and restocks thin.
If you'd rather have a smaller selection with a few more of the expensive dishes vs lots off dishes, OR if you'd rather deal with a harried staff over multiple waiters/waitresses pretending not to watch you eat while preparing to swoop in for the tip, then come here.
