Wonderful guy running this place. No Tex-mex. Fish tacos, guacamole, salsa, and the cucumber lime drink are truly fantastic! Loved the atmosphere. Love going to Mexico and live their food. This is the best I’ve found in the Midwest so far! You won’t regret trying these guys out. We have surrendered going to any other other 7 Mexican places we’ve liked upon discovering this one.
Fresh food!!! Tasty fresh Mexican food. Place is sunny and clean. Staff are friendly and attentive. I had the taco plate and some chips and guacamole. Chips were great. Light and NOT overly salty. I will definitely ask for hot sauce next time. My only complaint is the napkin dispenser. We had a fight and the dispenser won. Great place to get away from lobby fast food. Highly recommended.
Steak Tacos were good! Chicken tacos were a little dry. Be aware of the mango habanero salsa!
My favorite taco place in Minnesota! Authentic taste. The classic corn tortillas, onion, cilantro and your meat of choice - what more could you ask for? Great prices and generous proportions. Also, the red/orange salsa is the best! Hands down the most flavorful and legitimately spicy (y’all know midwesterners cannot handle spice but they do this right here if you actually like the heat). Quesadillas are also bomb and super cheesy!

So I spent the last 2 days looking for a place that served authentic Meican food and Tacos El Paraiso did not let me down. 3 of us ordered chicken fajitas, chicken quesadillas, fried chicken tacos and both a pork and a chicken tamale. Everything was excellent and we will be back!
If you are in the mood for some authentic street tacos in Brooklyn Park, look for this gem Tacos El Paraiso. I ordered the el pastor tacos which were delicious. My only criticism would be the lack of pineapples.
I look forward to spending another lunch break with you guys.
~ much success

This is one of the most authentic Mexican place. The tacos were fresh. The salsa was full of flavor and chips were homemade. Definitely recommend this place and will be back to try the tamales!
I've been to their food truck in New Hope, and was very excited to learn they have a storefront near me in Brooklyn Park. I can't describe how good the food is. I dream about it...
The menu at the restaurant is pretty big and includes cactus, tongue, brain, beef head, al pastor, tameles, chili rellenos, and much more. Everything is good and very fresh. I believe they make their own sauces. Tacos El Paraiso is very reasonably priced, which keeps me coming back (probably more often than I should...).
