If I lived nearby I would probably visit every single morning… Old fashioned donuts with a twist. You can tell how much love goes into their place. There’s an old school vibe when you walk into the pastry shop. As soon as you enter, the service counter is to the left and further in there’s old fashioned turn stool seating with a pastry bar area where you can order coffee, bagels and their signature donuts. If you’re a donut lover - this is THE PLACE.

Read about Peter Pan Donut shop in an article & since I was on vacation from work it was the perfect time for me to do some dessert hunting in Brooklyn. It was def worth making the trip from Queens. If you plan on driving, like me, just know street parking gets full here fast & you will probably have to drive around the block couple of times before you can find an open spot. Most if it is metered parking. Inside has a nice & cozy vibe. I love that they still use the classic white & red thread to tie the box- very old-school. Not many dessert shops do that anymore. I used to see a lot of that growing up but not at all in recent times so that was a nice touch. They've been around since the 60's so it's an iconic Brooklyn spot. I got the chocolate kruller, Bavarian Cream, Coffe Apple donut & also Boston Cream. They were all fantastic. I highly recommend this shop.

Best donuts around! Had Peter Pan Donuts for all my occasions and they never disappoint. Always fresh quality and tastes delicious. You can dine in for a cup of coffee and the best bacon egg and cheese in town! If you haven’t tried them yet, you are missing out!

I was first introduced to Peter Pan Donuts the summer I lived in Greenpoint for a college internship. I can still remember the devastatingly sweet smell of donuts on my way to the subway every morning (and the willpower I would have to drum up to stop myself from going in and buying 5). The whole shop is a step back into the 1950's with the pink and teal uniforms and their tiered basket display of donuts behind the counter. They only take cash, so come prepared. They have all the old school yeast and cake varieties. My favorites are the Blueberry Buttermilk, Old Fashioned Glaze, and Red Velvet cake donuts, and Jelly Powder and Boston Cream yeast. You legitimately can't go wrong; everything is so fresh and baked to actual perfection.

Cash only, great tasting donuts with alot of variety. There is always a line, be prepared to wait a bit but totally worth it. The sugar raise and smores are my favorites.

If I could give this place 10 stars. I definitely would. I visited at a really busy time. Sunday around 12:30... Although the line was long, it moved very quickly. I only bought three donuts. A coconut cream , A toasted coconut, And a apple crumb.. All of them were amazing but the toasted coconut really stood out. This wasn't my first time visiting, But it had been roughly seven or eight years I since I last visited. I remember the donuts were really good but when I went last week , I really wanted to turn around and get some more. But unfortunately, I had already entered the Subway. Service is also great.. The ladies behind the counter are very kind and patient, And do understand that you will likely wait during peak times. But it is so worth it.!

The blueberry buttermilk donut is a *revelation*. Crispy, craggy, browned exterior with a moist cake-like interior. Intense flavor and aroma of blueberries. Best sweet donut I’ve ever had. It’s just a tad too sweet with the glaze—for my palate, unglazed would make it the ideal donut.

• toasted coconut - fave! toasting the coconut releases oils that highlight that flavor which makes it highly addicting. • white cream coconut - not too sweet. the cream was light and didn’t leave a drastic milky residue. it didn’t have a strong coconut taste which i would’ve preferred. • blueberry buttermilk - a bit sweet. but i loveee blueberry. the glaze gave it a crunch while having a tender crumb. • boston cream donut - the chocolate tasted dark which i actually like. this is my favorite type of donut but what makes or breaks it is the cream. it was too overwhelming, i had to remove some but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t tasty. • cream crumb - forgettable. • red velvet - also forgettable. notes one thing that i’d like to emphasize is the DOUGH. these donuts are insanely plush, soft and tender. what’s even more impressive is the consistency. overall, don’t forget it’s cash only and have fun looking at the flavor variety.
