Great vegan food with a big variety to choose from. I think they have one of the best milkshakes I’ve ever tried. The restaurant could be a little cleaner and there was a bunch of dining time/reservation rules posted everywhere. But all-in-all definitely recommend!

Had the fried cauliflower appetizer and the Benedict. Both are a delight. I got pretty full and had to take the rest to go. The menu has changed a bit since the last time went and that was several years ago. Some items are no long on their online menu. Like they’re Buffalo seitan wings and the tater tots…. I’m hoping that’s temporary.

Tried this place on a whim for breakfast and it did not disappoint! We tried the chicken and waffle, the waffle was delicious, the chicken was good as well just a little dry. We also tried the breakfast slam which was our favourite. The French toast was really good. Overall we will definitely be coming back to try more, great vegan spot!

Amazing restaurant, took my husband and friend who ate not vegan and they loved it. Philly cheesesteak was the best thing we had along with the jalapeño poppers. Tots were good too, I had the enchilada burrito which was good but not a big fan of the egg taste but still was good. Incredible find, definitely going back to tried all the menu

It’s 100% vegan and they have lots of gluten free options. This spot is low key, just a began diner basically. The cheese is not made of cashews FYI in case you have a cashew allergy like me

I didn't know it was possible to make such delicious plant based diner fare but Champs has managed to do it! Must visit if you love French Toast and exploring vegan innovations. Check this place out next time you're in the neighborhood.

as a carnivore i am here to proclaim you can absolutely leave this place not wanting anything else because it's just hits on all notes regarding diner eats. the mac and cheese is rich and flavorful and really good with the broccoli. the burger is honestly one of the best burgers i've ever had and was also really good cold a couple hours later, love that. mozzarella sticks were too cheesy for me but if you love mozzarella then it's probably gonna hit you where ya want it. cauliflower was perfectly cooked and the ranch was bomb. been waiting to come here for a while and it was well worth it.

I’ve been here awhile ago back before covid and it was delish. I ordered take out last week and it was ok. Probably just doesn’t travel well although it was the gyro sandwich, cauliflower wings and salad. They put the taziki sauce on the side which was good but the sandwich was a mess. Couldn’t really taste the fries but otherwise it was good. Cauliflower wings were tasty but small amount for the cost. Salad did not come with any salad dressing. Delivery was ok and food arrived hot. Ordered through GrubHub.

I visited from Florida and enjoyed this place to the fullest. The staff was very friendly Stephan was a sweetheart and the food was outstanding! During my trip, I visited champs three times. I just couldn’t get enough of their delicious “breakfast slam.” I will be visiting New York again and will definitely return. 🥂🥰

Champ's might have the best vegan comfort food in the country. I've been to multiple vegan friendly cities and this is one of my all time favorite spots to go. The Reuben, Cubano, and Cheesesteak are all really freakin good (Reuben is my favorite sandwich ever). Also try a pancake for dessert (cinnamon swirl and cookie dough are both awesome). Edit 1: The crab cakes are also delicious. Edit 2: I still love champ's but Ben & Esther's Deli in Portland makes the best vegan Reuben in the land.

Champs Diner is amazing every time I come! All vegan comfort food at its finest! We got the French toast, the cinnamon swirl pancakes, the new roast beef sandwich, and a banana cream pie shake 🤤😍!

The food is flavorful and amazing. I am not vegan and everything tasted normal to me. The was delicious and there was not any compromise in the taste. This place was an awesome find and I would definitely come back if I am in the area. The line can get pretty long so I would suggest getting there early. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

One of our favorite vegan diners in NYC. The few times that we have visited Champs we have not had one thing to complain about. We even got lucky and found parking on the block which is very rare in NY. My favorite sandwich is the Cuban. The shakes are delicious and worth trying especially the mint chocolate chip one. We didn't like the mozzarella sticks that much but everything else was so good, I can't wait to go back

We couldn’t visit New York without stopping by a diner, let alone a completely vegan one! Champs Diner‘s sandwiches were such an indulgence, staff was very friendly and we just love the retro diner aesthetics there! We ordered the staff-recommended Chik’n Sandwich in Nashville (it also comes in Buffalo and Zesty) and Philly Cheese Steak made from seitan. Both sandwiches were phenomenal! The chick’n sandwich had the perfect crunch and right amount of heat from the sauce. The cheesesteak was juicy and SO flavourful! We would love to come back again to try their other dishes! Check us out @vegetswithya on IG for more vegan and vegetarian eats in the area!

I visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and waited a little over an hour, which is just over what the lady working the seats warned me. There is limited seating outside but they offer ice cold water while you wait. Upon checking in, they'll get your name, party number, and phone number so they can text you when your table is ready. There is an app you can download to view your place in line, but it's not necessary. Once seating, the waiter quickly and politely handed out menus and asked for starters. The wait for food was reasonable and my order tasted great. The spinach artichoke dip tasted amazing and I was offered extra crostinis at no additional charge. The birthday cake shake tasted amazing and was so fulfilling I couldn't even finish it. The bathroom is unisex and very tiny, but kept clean. Overall a great visit, I'd definitely stop by again and wait an hour if I had to.

CHEESE STICKS are the best. I also had the spicy grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado. On a sesame seed bun. Which came with a side of fries. A single pastry on the side soft and delicious. Thank you M and JACKIE. Good customer service. Nice seating area. There isn’t room if you’re waiting for a seat or for a take out order this place is very busy. Good thing there is a covered waiting area outside, but that isn’t that big. The restroom is very small, but the walls r creative.

I heard of this place on IG and told my husband that we have to try it out the next time we're in Brooklyn. Best decision ever! It's not a big place but full of great people, great service, and fantastic food. We first went for dinner HANGRY and left so stuffed. Hubby and I ordered mozzarella sticks for appetizer and shocked how good they taste. We both ordered the Mondo burgers and all I can say "HOLY S**T...this is really good." We then finished our dinner off by sharing a Rainbow Brite Cookie for dessert...whew! The next day we went back for brunch and I ordered cookie dough pancakes and hubby ordered enchilada breakfast. Once again, left stuffed and satisfied. I highly recommend this place. This is paradise for vegans and non-vegans.
