The big standout is the view you get. Gorgeous view of New York.
The food was fine. My party all had 3 burgers and a coke. The burgers were pretty much what you expect a burger would taste like it's fine little overpriced in my opinion.
The Coke was good it was a bottled brand made with cane sugar.
The service was friendly and accommodating. We came in without a reservation but they were able to fit us in. The only catch about that was we were only allowed an hour to eat. Which worked out for us. I do think we came at the right time around 4 to 5 pm because after our hour the server mentioned we could stay a little longer they haven't asked for us to leave.
Overall it's a great spot for groups, a date, or for friends/family visiting out of state like me because that view was awesome, especially around sunset.
Would recommend calling ahead for a reservation.
The Westlight has a special place in my heart. I go here for special occasions with my partner and we love it. The cocktails are to die for. The views are incredible. Service is fantastic. Great place to be with friends for some snacks and cocktails!
Came for drinks with my girls and we had a good time. It was too cold to stay outside but the view was amazing. Cocktails are good. The food is ok. The decor is really nice. Book in advance to be sure to be seated.
The restaurant is located on the 22nd floor and has an astonishing view. The food was good. We ordered small bites to share and two drinks. The service was great. After dinner, we went to the rooftop to enjoy a conversation and drinks.

Such an amazing place to watch a sunset. Main terrace bar has amazing views, and then you can pop upstairs periodically for almost 360 panoramas.
We were served by Stephanie, who was so so so great. Funny, human, personable, relatable - absolutely who you want to be having serve you on a last night in this incredible city.
Westlight in Brooklyn exceeded all my expectations and provided a great evening experience. The moment I stepped onto the rooftop, I was greeted with incredible views. The panoramic skyline of the city, paired with the mesmerizing sunset, created a breathtaking backdrop that truly elevated the entire atmosphere.
The drinks at Westlight were also great. The carefully curated cocktail menu offers a delightful array of options to cater to all preferences.
The attentive and friendly staff also contribute to the overall positive experience. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer recommendations made the visit even more enjoyable.
I visited this rooftop bar last week and had a fantastic experience. The view of Manhattan was absolutely stunning and really added to the ambiance of the bar. The cocktail choices were excellent and there was a great selection of drinks to choose from. The bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable, and they made sure that our drinks were always topped up.

Drinks weren’t watered down. Food was creative that actually tastes good. I was pleasantly surprised how good the watermelon salad is. Staff are warm and friendly. It rained outside but did not affect the happy ambiance inside.
Westlight is a great place for fun with friends, date night, or drinks with a view. I recommend coming during the sunset, as the view outside it beautiful, even in the rain. The dry aged beef burger ($22) was delicious, and so were the duck carnitas tacos (which were massive and filling, also $22). The food portions are large and filling. The atmosphere is loud inside. The cocktails tend to be on the sweeter side and quite strong (about $20 each. The Corpse reviver #2 was sweet. The southside cocktail was good and quite strong as well). Expensive, but you're paying for the view and good food.
It's also a fun place to grab a drink in the evening and enjoy the Manhattan view, on a night out.
Went with a friend late on a Saturday night without a reservation. While there was a wait to be seated, the hostess was friendly and was able to help as quickly as possible. Drinks and food were good, but the location is known for its views which don’t disappoint. They have outdoor seating gear round (with heaters/a removable encasement set up). It’s pricey, but worth going if you’re looking for a great view and atmosphere.
This place is incredible with wonderful views, I recommend making reservations. The cocktails are very good and full of alcohol, good music and excellent service from the hosts to the waiters.
The most epic rooftop in Brooklyn overlooking the NYC skyline. It doesn’t get better than Westlight at the William Vale.
Cocktails made here are divine. The views are breathtaking. The food is delicious. Can’t go wrong here. Make reservations in advance!
If you don’t have a reservation, you can go up to the Turf Club and hang to enjoy the views without one.
One of my favorite rooftop bar in NYC. Located inside the William Vale hotel. Has picture perfect view of the skyline of Manhatten. Always is greeted with a smile when I walk in. Cocktails are always great and delicious. Have tried figure of speech, fuji flight, dark and spritz, spicy sunset, and the black manhatten. The snacking menu is great (maybe slightly on the more expensive side) but great to munch on. The crispy Brussels sprouts and herb fries are my favorites so far.
Definitely a go to place for a nice night out or to take visiting friends and family. Would recommend getting a reservation to guarantee a seat.
