Hands-down the best sushi in Brooklyn. Maybe even the best sushi in New York City. Consistent and delicious. Melt in your mouth. Mmmmm yes.

Ordered some rolls, dumplings and saki. Had a great time and the food was delicious. Enjoyed the music playing and decor, really added to the experience. Felt like we were in a dive bar the entire time! Ice cream was also amazing.

Best sushi in Brooklyn. Phil, the owner, is one of the sweetest humans alive, and the staff is excellent! It may be out of my way, but I ALWAYS make a point to come here when I visit NYC.

Amazing hole-in-the-wall sushi joint. Doesn't even have a real door, but one of those construction style tents for an entrance. And you sit on communal wooden benches. We let the waiter pick our dishes for us and everything was amazing. Stand outs were: scallop hand roll (eat right away while the seaweed is still roasted), sea eel (as opposed to river eel - unagi), and party bomb (assortment of sushi). Also, instead of ginger they have pickled yuzu for palette cleanser, which is awesome. The only downside is that the entire wait staff and vibe of the restaurant is so edgy and cool that you feel like a total dweeb in there. Tip to fit in: put on some John Lennon glasses, grudge up your clothes, and deepen your v-neck.

I frequently eat sushi from coast to coast, north to south, and even other countries. And hands down Momo meets the highest grades of food and creativity, outstanding service and a unique vibe that can't be beat. Please don't ever stop!

Cozy restaurant, that gives you the feel of being in an eatery in Japan. The food was excellent. The owner Phil is one of the nicest guys I ever met, very friendly to his customers. And also has a sister restaurant next door called Moku Moku.

I’ve always loved this place but hadn’t been in a long while since no longer frequenting the neighborhood. Long communal tables and sushi, ramen, buns, gyoza, and other delicious things.

We visited here as part of an organised vegan tour of Brooklyn. Momo was amazing. We had a selection of vegan sushi and dumplings and they were soooo tasty! Service was fantastic with the waiter singing about each plate of food as he put it down on our table. Was one of the highlights of the tour.

I have been coming here for the past seven years and I can honestly say it’s still one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. The sushi is always fresh, customer service is always through the roof, and the lunch special prices is always worth it. If you’re in the neighborhood do not miss this place

I have been coming here for years and it is truly one of the must underrated sushi spots in NYC. The quality is always on point. I have always only have had amazing meals here. Everyone I bring here loves it. Try the spicy tuna bomb!

An absolutely excellent meal. Everything was a taste sensation. The salmon bomb was great, the pork mazeman noodles dish (shown) was delicious, and the salmon guacamole teka with cilantro was out of this world! They offer 3 soy sauce mixed, plain, with some Wasabi and with a lot of Wasabi mixed in (shown)

Service was excellent. Those maki rolls looked interesting but, I went with the nigiri special. It was OK overall. The uni was very good. The miso was below expectation - the tofu was mush.

This place rocks - sashimi pieces are fresh and huge! Was stuffed from their sushi bowl trio. Also love their ramen. Staff are very kind and give excellent customer service. I’ll be coming back regularly!

Pork Betty and sushi was great, although I couldn’t see through the window looking in and thought it was closed at first!

Such an amazing sushi/Japanese restaurant! Their hand rolls (Temaki) are interesting, and the heritage pork "Betty" appetizer is phenomenal (get the egg!) Very tasty miso soup. Small menu but they do practically everything well. I don't I've ever ordered anything "meh" from here and I've dined here about 20 times in the past five years. Repeat foodie customer: says it all. I get the hand rolls (one of each: ebi, spicy scallop, and spicy tuna) every time I go. The soy sauce flight they offer is an awesome touch and essential to the meal. I drown my Temaki (hand rolls) in the spicy sauce. I like their sushi bombs but usually I will get one of their specials - the main menu itself has been updated many times. They offer things like fried chicken and turkey leg randomly. This restaurant really hits the spot. It's not luxurious (because someone will complain about the benches and proximity to other diners during peak hours - it's not that bad, or just go during off hours if you're bothered by that sort of thing) but the service is usually superb and you will get a solid meal here. Good place to take a first date if you are feeling nervous and want to break the ice, but not very romantic. Not a place to bring your kids but most places in Bushwick aren't... Yeah, this place is definitely good. I looked over my own review and now I'm hungry!

So good! Really recommend the lunch special for a roll and a bomb. The green tea is also really well made. Small cozy place.
