A very enjoyable experience.
A mix between loud and quiet atmosphere with random items on the wall. Top tier service with some excellent Uruguayan food to try. I have never been to Uruguay but the food was really good. Empanadas are ordered in batches of two and the Gouda one was insane.
A few steak options that were all delicious as well. Ask about the homemade pasta selection of the day! The truffle mushroom one was one of the best pastas I have ever had!
This is one of, if not my all time favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and so are the drinks. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are super friendly, I love the authenticity. I highly recommend Tabaré!
Great place and the food is so tastefully delicious!!!! Highly recommended! Great atmosphere for a dinner but also very cozy for brunch!!! The staff is great and very friendly and welcoming!!! I am definitely going back for dinner!
They also have a fixed price menu for brunch that is great too!!!
Adorable outdoor spot. We had our dog with us and was able to take the table for outdoor seatings. It was 88F outside but it has a cover and they turned the fan on which provided plenty of airflow and comfort. $20 pre fixe brunch, including one main, one alcoholic drink, and one coffee. Foods were so delicious and staff was so friendly. Loved it and will come back for dinner one day. Their backyards area has string lights and look so cute for a date.
This place was amazing. It's a little cramped in there but they have the caravan, which is a little back covered patio almost and that was really nice. The prices are great for the quality of food, especially for NY. The handmade fettuccine was spectacular, I dream about it!
Food was amazing and at a really good price, service was perfect, I really loved the ambiance, simply a great place to go have a nice lunch while thrift shopping in Williamsburg !
If you’ve never tried crowd-pleasing Uruguayan food, think: Italian + grilling out (with the best grass-fed beef). Tabare knocks it out of the park with their traditional starters, homemade pasta, steak, chivito (a sandwich for burger lovers), and omg that dulce de leche flan is the best I’ve had anywhere. Both locations are fantastic with a cozy atmosphere and curated nostalgic Uruguayan decor!
Loved our brunch. The skirt steak with chimichuri and carbonara were delicious. The mimosa was good but the sangria could do better since it was watered down.
The atmosphere is wonderful and cozy. but the kitchen leaves much to be desired, the french fries were 50% burnt and it was the 21st century in the yard, and cards were not accepted for payment. They say you can only American Express or cash. I don’t understand how in one of the most developed countries in institutions they don’t accept bank cards, not to mention Apple Pay)))
Lovely setting! Empanadas we’re top-notch👌 didn’t try the cocktails but will be visiting again for those soon
