Great dumplings - fried or boiled. They come in 8 pc; you have a mixed fillings option if you want to try different ones.
I haven’t tried other items in the menu but the dumplings are a great shareable go-to.
I had Vanessa's Dumpling House cater a recent event for my company, and Vanessa's Dumpling House was amazing all around! Not only did everything we order (which was basically everything on the menu) stellar and delicious, but communication was clear and prompt and delivery service the day of was wonderful. All of our guests filled up on their wonderful food and compliments were shared frequently on how yummy the dumplings were. 10/10 recommended, and we will definitely be using them again for future events.
I think this is a great quick lunch spot! Their food is on the cheaper side, especially for their location. I always get the pan fried dumplings over the steamed/ boil, I feel like there’s just more flavor! Their noodle dishes are super filling and they give a good amount. Not the fanciest place, but a great spot to grab some dumplings and head to domino park for a picnic.

10/10 recommend! I'm a vegetarian and sometimes it's difficult to find places that offer good vegetarian food. I can eat the spinach/mushroom spicy wontons every day, they're so delicious. Vegetable pan fried dumplings are good too. Affordable as well. If you're in the mood for dumplings like I was this place will definitely satisfy you!
The place has all the ambiance of a Baskin Robbins but don't let that deter you, the food is fast and fabulous and the staff is really friendly. The pan fried dumplings, sesame noodles, and Peking duck sesame pancake sandwiches are perfection, you can't go wrong with any of them. I got all of them.
I really wanted to give this place five stars, but the wait time here is horrendous!!! And they ran out of basically all dumplings but vegetable with a wait time of 20 minutes. Other than that, the prices are great! The food was awesome. Their miso soup was delightful as well. You can bring large groups here, but be cautious of the parking. It took us a good 20 minutes to find parking in the neighborhood. I definitely recommend this place, expect if you're in a rush or looking for a quick bite!
I recommend the dumplings and miso soup. If you really like your dumplings, you can even buy frozen ones for home.
They are so quick once you place your order. There is outdoor seating. The dumplings were delicious. I preferred the Peking duck sandwich to the beef one.
Love Vanessas’s dumplings food! We got there and order take out: 2 red bean buns, veggie dumplings, pork dumplings, veggie and pork pancakes. Obviously the dumplings take the win! We loved them and 8 pieces each order for a price of $7.88 in NYC feels like a deal! The staff and service was nice and fast.
Highly recommend!
Satisfies a craving and does it at a great price.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place, it’s authentic and definitely affordable for being in Williamsburg. $4 for 4 decently sized and tasty shrimp wontons in soup that’s not too salty is honestly as much as I can ask for these days.
The green onion sesame pancake is also great, albeit a tiny bit too greasy for me (but still fluffy, crispy, and delicious).
Pan fried dumplings are good.
I ordered takeout and everything was piping hot when I picked up. Solid choice for a quick dinner if you’re in the area. Will order from here again.
Didn’t know about dumplings but this place was a very pleasant and delicious surprise! So many savory choices! Loved the fried dumplings and the shrimp soup was very welcome on a cold N.Y. day. Friendly and accommodating host walked us through the choices.
Vanessa’s is a great place for the tipsy ones on a great night out in Williamsburg. This place can sometimes have a wait especially the party crowd , the dumplings are great and the edamame is fantastic dunno if it was the drinks encouraging it but i loved them more than the rest of my food.
I have always had a delightful dining experience at this wonderful restaurant. Vanessa's Dumpling offers a delectable selection of Chinese cuisine that never fails to satisfy my taste buds. The menu boasts a variety of mouthwatering dishes, with highlights including the flavorful spicy pork, delectable chicken dumplings, and the aromatic basil chicken. However, the true standout at Vanessa's Dumpling is their scrumptious pancakes, which are undoubtedly a crowd favorite.
To complement the delicious food, the restaurant also offers an impressive selection of beverages. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing draft beer, a delightful Sangria, or a glass of fine wine, Vanessa's Dumpling has something to suit every palate. Additionally, their smoothies, bubble tea, and ice tea are simply divine.
For those who prefer to enjoy their meal at home, Vanessa's Dumpling provides convenient takeaway options. The restaurant takes pride in its cheerful staff, whose friendly and attentive service contributes to the overall dining experience. Guests consistently praise the staff for their warm hospitality.
One of the standout features of Vanessa's Dumpling is its fair pricing. Visitors appreciate that they can indulge in delicious Chinese cuisine without breaking the bank. The combination of great food, reasonable prices, and friendly service makes Vanessa's Dumpling a top-rated establishment.
As you step into the restaurant, you'll be greeted by a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance adds to the overall dining experience, making it a delightful place to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal.
In conclusion, Vanessa's Dumpling is a restaurant that consistently delivers a memorable dining experience. From their flavorful dishes to their wide selection of beverages, every aspect of the menu is crafted with care. The cheerful staff, fair pricing, and peaceful atmosphere all contribute to a dining experience that keeps guests coming back for more.
Vanessa's Dumplings are very good in flavors and for the price you pay here. It's a low budget meal that very good and tasteful. I have been coming here since about the first month they opened. To be honest when they first opened up, the portions were larger and prices were also lower. Now there's almost always a line. So the price is still good for the meal your getting.
They make very good wonton soup that's made fresh and not like your local Chinese take out. They have a few different drinks to choose from as well. (Pina Colada, Coconut, Green tea, Bobble tea, Sangria & ect...)
The dumplings were delicious. For the fried chicken and basil (not in my picture) and the boiled pork as well as a seaweed salad and a hot and sour soup. They have an outside area and it was super warm the night we went in November.
