Cash only spot and prices are great considering what you get. Food is delicious but takes a while and there was no ac so it was a little uncomfortable. I got chicken thali and it was very good. The beef momos were also pretty good. All in all I would come back and try other dishes.
Truly delicious and light dishes that are perfectly seasoned and well-portioned. We had the vegan momos and veggie thaldi, then it was a mango lassi and chai tea, perfect for two adults. The servers were attentive and swift, with charm and sincerity. The train station is next door so it can get loud, and the space is a bit narrow but the decor and cleanliness are top notch and the food is not to be missed. We’ll be back to try the soups!! They looked wonderful.
Great food for great value.
We ordered the momo combo and the garlic noodles with chicken. Everything was very tasty.
Cash only.
Wow, this place is delicious and the service is excellent. First time I've had Tibetan food, and this place has made me a fan. I was looking forward to coming back right after my first visit.
I'm currently working in this neighborhood and have tried over a dozen of the local restaurants, and this one is my favorite.
Prices are very fair. Typically, lunch/dinner is $15

Love this place. It’s cash only. Usually order the mango lassi which is amazing. The app I got were the chickpeas which were a little dry and the cabbage salad. The lamb curry which is good it used to come in a bigger portion also it used to taste better but it’s still good. The other main dish was the chicken mango which was really good. I highly recommend this place and trying new dishes every time you go.
Next to a train station this spot is great for quick bites, take outs, offers vegetarian options, but prepare to pay cash only. This place has Buddhist attributes on the walls, and gives you a sense atmosphere of Tibet. I would suggest to try Thalli with meat or vegetarian option. Another popular dish here is Momo which is made with meat or veggies. Asking about a spicy level of a dish might be necessary for those who like me not a spiciness lover. Enjoy this traditional Tibetan cuisine!
I have been here so many times in the past 10 years. Finally, I am writing a review. I tend to get the same dishes every time because they are consistently good. My go-to dishes are lamb Thali, pork chili, and momo. We tried fried momo this time and the fried version was perfect with the crispy texture.
The service here is very friendly but slow. But once your food arrives at your table, your hanger will be gone within the first bite. So it is worth the wait but best to go there when you are not so hungry.
Updated (03/05/23): this is still my favorite spot for Himalayan restaurant in the neighborhood. I just cannot help it to order lamb Thali again. So delish!

If you have not tried Tibetan food before, this is the place to go! This neighborhood restaurant is LOVED by the locals and is a true gem. We were told by a local that this was their favorite restaurant in the neighborhood so we went and tried it. They cook delicious authentic Tibetan cuisine served by a welcoming staff. We recommend their Momos which are their traditional Tibetan dumplings. We ordered Combo Momo's which comes with 3 beef, 3 chicken & 3 veggies. The beef and Chicken filling was juicy and seasoned very well! Overall they were all savory and delicious, with a slightly chewy texture from the dough and a flavorful filling. It is cash only restaurant if you plan to eat here but worth every penny! We also recommend garlic noodles. The noodles are tender and full of flavor, with the beef and vegetables making it a perfect dish. It was savory and slightly spicy, with a strong garlic flavor and the sauce has a slightly sweet and sour taste. We can't wait to comeback to this neighborhood again just to eat here.
Love the food here! My favorite apps are the mung bean and the curried potatoes. The then thuk soup noodles are also great especially for a cold winter day. Shrimp curry is slightly sweet and spicy, it's also good. The honey ginger tea was soothing. My 2 year old kid liked the garlic noodles even tho it had a bit of a numbing spice. I had to take it away from him cuz his face was getting red.
A very warm, quiet spot near the subway station. We had been here on a cold afternoon for some warm thukpa. We got chilly chicken, chicken thukpa and spicy chicken momos. The food was good, quick and friendly service. Chicken thukpa could have been slightly better with more flavors. Chilly chicken was delicious, served with white rice. Spicy momos were served with red sauce. They were not very spicy but very flavorful.
PS. They only accept cash so make sure you carry cash with you. There’s an ATM inside a convenience store next door but they’ll charge you fees.
Wow I literally just finished my food and I needed to get on here to tell you all how good it is. Truly a hidden gem in Brooklyn. I got the traditional “then thuk” noodle soup with beef. I had to tilt my bowl and to get every last drip in my spoon lol Amazing scenic view, enjoy it!
Part 2
I came back with a friend and we ate inside. They’re not about social media so only locals know about this hidden gem
This place is a gem! Very few tables, but cozy and friendly and the food is AMAZING! We got the Veg Thali, the Veg spicy momo dumplings and my friend got a spicy pork belly dish with rice. I will definitely come back!
I went here 10 years ago when I graduated from college, I’m so happy that this restaurant is still open. I love to see local businesses strive in communities! The momo here is really good and I usually order the Thali platter. If you plan on dining here it is cash only! There is an ATM next door in the bodega.
good food, good service. All momos tastes great, was surprised with the vegetable momos.
This is such a unique restaurant. I really enjoyed my meal here. It’s a small quaint restaurant with a great vibe and great service. It’s cash only, they don’t accept credit cards. The restaurant is cheap with reasonably priced dishes. We had the veg Thai, which was delicious. The veg biryani and momos were also food.
Very tiny place but the food is absolutely delicious. The curry noodles are tasty and the chili dishes are hot. They are cash only but there is an ATM next door. Check it out
