This place it’s so beautiful. I went there for breakfast with my friends.
The ambiance, the books, the decoration, the aesthetic, it makes you feel like if you are in little village out of town. The food was delicious and with a good variety of options. For drinks, our server recommended us an espresso martini and it was so good. Our server was very kind and attentive, she was always making sure we were happy and enjoying the food.
Definitely going back for a romantic dinner soon!
Such a warm, cozy and romantic atmosphere to experience! Unique and tasty drinks and food was simply delicious. If you have the opportunity, sit outside in their back garden to enjoy a fine meal with someone you love. 🖤
I love this place for it's interior decor, it's chilled vibe at the same time top quality food.
Great spot for a date, birthday party with girlfriends or a larger group of friends or family or even solo. They have a beautiful garden in the back to enjoy lunch, brunch or dinner in fresh air.
I had the croquet monsieur with scrambled eggs and bacon on top, my friends had a burger and shakshuka, all dishes were very tasty. Must come and try for yourself!

Stopped in here randomly while on a walk home with my wife.
The place is super chic and very inviting. They have an awesome outdoor area too.
The drinks were amazing and we ended up staying for more than one drink and that turned into dinner.
The food, drinks, the setting and the people are just super cool. Def going to be returning here.

Menu not sophisticated, the ingredients are fresh and organic.
The owner put appreciated effort in the decor, with part exposed brick and library theme with many shelves with books.
Backyard garden is equally amazing.
Will definitely recommend the spot for any group size and consider it for celebration.
Would like to suggest the management for some jazz music in background...or even live.
Didn't stay for food, unfortunately, but the place is absolutely gorgeous ! The garden is stunning!!! Great place for events. Inside has a romantic feeling ... too bad i didn't have time to try the coffee at least.
Beautiful restaurant in Greenpoint serving delicious food. Loved the back room and outdoor area, if possible, request to be seated there. There was some confusion with our party’s reservation but the manager rectified this, got our tables sorted, and personally took care of us for our brunch
The server was really nice. Bummed I didn’t catch his name. It was warm cozy and quiet in here. It has this like elevated seaside tavern vibe but with an Italian menu. Extremely spacious.
Milk and Roses Bistro was the most dreamy location to host our baby shower! Their conservatory was the perfect location for our spring "baby in bloom" themed baby shower!
Sussane, their event coordinator, was extremely communicative and helped us through planning and executing the event flawlessly!
Their food and desserts were very yummy. The portion sizes were large! Their PBJ was out of the world! The service throughout the event was seamless, and the staff was so friendly! They were even able to accommodate some last-minute food restrictions without much fuss.
I can't wait to host another event at Milk and Roses, perhaps our baby's birthday :)
My wife and I were staying up the street at the Box Hotel and ate brunch here twice. Both times I had the French Toast PBJ and it was simply the best take on French Toast I have ever had in my LIFE. My wife had the Shakshuka and loved it. (Photo shows the Fr toast)
Atmosphere was nice (we ate in the garden) the service was GREAT and the espresso was fantastic. All in all, one of the highlights of our trip. We WILL be back.
The vibe here is super chill, decor is top notch, wall to wall bookshelves filled with antique looking books.
The cocktails are as tasty as beautiful.

Wow!!! Honestly it’s my top two places I’ve been to. I have to say, from the atmosphere, the food, everything about this place is just out of this world. Service was phenomenal, the details of the place, lights, music playing, the book decorations, seating arrangements and most of all THE FOOD!!! Wow!! you have to go experience this place. They have a place for parties that doesn’t intervene with the regular customers and yet doesn’t affect the dinning experience if you just want to go for a nice diner between you and friends or as couples. We basically ordered many different plates and they ALL were amazing. You have to go for yourself and experience this place!! You won’t regret it.
One of the BEST backyard spaces in Brooklyn. Good for a date or a group, and the food is really great. Both the Salmon Tartare & the Shakshuka are worth it. You will want more bread.
1 hour of Unlimited Mimosas is $18 with food. But if that's not your mood, just get there early & you won't have to endure the full mimosa rush around you.
Beautiful restaurant with great gardon for outdoor dining. It is one of the most famous brunch spots in the neighborhood. I love their waffle, and sandwiches also excellent.
We ate here a number of times....it was convenient to the box house. However there were other choices near by and we kept coming back. Really good pastas and had a wonderful dessert one night. Worth a visit!
