Loved this diner, open 24h a day and with a lot of menu options. The staff are great, especially Mr Spiro who made our late night dinner a very memorable one. This place has heart, highly recommend if you're in the area.
Many options, from breakfast all day, pasta, chicken, burgers, salads, soups, steaks, appetizers, dessert, etc. There is also sitting area outback besides inside restuarant. Clean as well.
This place is very quiet they make a good food they have a nice service.
Came with four people around 11 p.m. at night. Ordered a full four-course meal. Everything was delicious
Great food with nice service!!
Great experience. Ordered egg white wrap. Relative ordered turkey wrap w/bacon. We were both very satisfied. Food fresh, tasty, and served hot. All the servers were attentive and friendly. Bathroom updated and spacious. Older restaurant, but no foul odors or bad smells. Seems like a neighborhood staple. Would visit again.
I have been going over here for 10+ years never had an issue. The servers know me and seen me before and after pregnancy and treat my son nice. On the other hand when the owner or boss or whatever is there... he is rude and not welcoming. I still go there cause of the servers and how nice they are but if they start hiring new staff I probably wont go there no more. Food is good.
Nice, family and Casual lucky 24/7 Diner! Great!
From the other diners in the area I would say this is my new favorite. The servers were clean and friendly, the atmosphere was pretty good, and there was nothing wrong with the service. The food was fantastic. I'm on a diet so on a whim I got the "lean buffalo burger with cottage cheese and peaches on a bed of lettuce," and it was fantastic. Truly great. My girlfriend got the caesar chicken wrap with fries, and that was also really good. Despite my great experience I wasn't going to write a review, but I forgot the name of the restaurant. So I searched on google maps and it brought me to this page. I was shocked to see it had received poor reviews and wanted to balance the scale. I look forward to giving them more business.
I ate here twice during my trip to New York mostly due to its proximity to where I was staying. Despite the prices being a tad higher than diners I'm used to back home, the food and service were fantastic during both visits. You'll find standard diner fare, but it is very well made. My sandwich was filling and delicious, and the French toast was better than I've had at similar eateries. If you're looking for a greasy spoon-style diner, this is a great place with an extensive menu with prices akin to what you'd find in Manhattan.
This is not typical Smith Street hipster eatery. It is more like what this area was like before the arrival of the hipsters. The food is great, lots of choices, good service, good price, open all the time. The ambiance is not white table cloths, but comfy old school booths. My favorite place on Smith Street. Oh, the serving size of wine is really big.
I love that this place delivers late - YES! The menu is fairly varied - though probably on the lighter side for a diner. Regardless, delivery was quick - well under the estimated time. I had their souvlaki wrap, which was a hearty portion. Enough for two meals. It arrived with steak fries, slaw and a pickle. Late at night with pouring rain, it was just what I wanted to show up at my door.
Great classic dinner just like the name says. Big portions served just like they always have been in these spots. Great for when you are craving that bacon cheeseburger deluxe with some well done fries and a milkshake :)
A great go to place when you want that 'old school' feel. Don't be fooled, they're not just about meatloaf and mashed potatoes--- they have quite the healthy fare on the menu as well. Staff is great--- attentive not annoying. Big perk--- they're open holidays and 24/7!
