I loved the food the Rachos egg and French toast with the mimosa & coffee was good and the atmosphere was nice and the music was not loud.It was kinda dark in the restaurant at first when we got in but then they turn on the lights which was good. The service was amazing !!!
Incredibly delicious! Decided to go here on a whim & was pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was kind and knowledgeable about the dishes. Tried their olives, flatbread, chicken schnitzel, and whipper ricotta — all delectable. The cocktails were incredible too, and the restaurant itself is spacious yet intimate. I can’t wait to go back!
The dark colors, plants, lighting, and music were really something amazing. And lowkey soothing. I feel like I could sit here all day, that’s how nice the ambience is. We sat at the bar but there is ample table seating. All the food was good but that butter with the flatbread was so flavorful & delicious. The burger was good, but I felt that the bread was just too much & too big for the patty.
I do really like this place. I've come here for brunch and for dinner.
The space is well sized and there are lots of little tables. They join them up for bigger parties. They also have a large bar area. The space is sleek and looks modern and cool. Not very dressy but still trendy.
The wait staff is friendly and offer recommendations but I don't think they have all been there too long. But they are definitely helpful and approachable.
The food is really good here! I love the cardamom pancakes and my family loved the paella. I do recommend the seared salmon it comes with an olive tepanade and is fantastically flavored and I also would recommend the chicken pot pie for something warm and comforting in the cold weather. For dessert the flourless chocolate cake is the best bet.
I'll be back, it's a great addition to the neighborhood!
Small touches would've made this experience a 10/10
First would be, adding more salt to the tamarind calamari and creating a thicker more well rounded sauce
Second would be, perfecting the desserts, the chocolate mousse resembled more of a pudding/icecream texture, the flavor was suuuper cacao-y which is a YES but it's not giving light whipped moussey texture. The apple pie was not ooo gooey soft apples and lacked a proper crust...not much of a flaky or sugary sweet taste. Please stop with crunchy apples....
Other than that, ambiance is great, drinks are amazing and entrees were beautiful done. Didn't lack in the flavor department. Just note that the chicken pillard wasss stacked with arugula :)
Beautiful atmosphere, would definitely come back to try more.
Stopped by for a weekend brunch. Shrimp and grits was ok, appreciated that the shrimp was tender and perfectly cooked, however was not the freshest, had a slightly fishy smell/taste with the grits on the blander side. Cardamom pancakes were good but much larger than expected, comes with 2 pancakes that are very thick, had to take most of it home. Avocado toast was basic. Wished that the Elderflower spritz had more of an elderflower taste. Bar and interior is cute, bathrooms are clean. Service was good.
Local favorite. Small menu but every dish is made very well. The tamarind calamari never fails. Salmon steak is juicy and perfectly grilled. Duck confit pasta is indulgent. Cocktails are a bit hit or miss but the food gets 5 stars from me. They also have a daily homemade pie special with ice cream. Drool. Save your appetite or go just for the pie.
Ate inside early Saturday night dinner. Not very crowded. Service was good. The lighting inside needs some work. Seemed pretty dark in back with sun shining through front window making it weird if you sat in the middle. Anyway, food was mostly good except the presentation was lacking with the Hake and the Pancetta. The ribs appetizer was delicious and the fries were excellent. They need to step things up a few notches and it would be so much better. Will return sometime and check back in

The staff are friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is very welcoming and beautiful. I was there with coworkers for happy hour and indeed it was. The food was awesome, I love that chicken served on the crispy bread and the wings are well done. I will be back!
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! Great spot to catch up with friends and fam or to go for a date. So cute.
I’m 10000% coming back I just won’t be getting the chicken (that’s why I’m giving 4 stars + service was kinda slow)
Ambiance: ugh such a vibe inside and outside I can’t wait to go back!! Music, lighting, string lights outside. Everything is so cute and classy.
Okay so food:
corn tempura - crunchy, juicy (it’s got the juice! Shout out corn kid), and comes with a yummy dipping sauce. I highly recommend.
Flat bread - YES!!!!!! It’s a great appetizer if you like sweet and savory because the caramelized onion dip on the side is what brings the sweet and it’s GOOD.
Burrata - Not a must have but we just wanted more food lol. Does not come with enough bread. But the roasted peppers underneath the burrata is really where it’s at.
Pasta Pomodoro - DO IT!!!! I want this again immediately. Such a good balance of sauce and pasta.
Grilled half chicken - if you love yourself even a little please do not get this. Omg this was awful and it smelled weird too. Literally as the waiter approached and before he put the plate down I just knew this was gonna be gross.
Cocktail recommendations: Lavender Mule and Here Comes The Treble.
A lovely local neighborhood spot with a very soothing and vibey atmosphere. Highly recommend the charred octopus and chicken schnitzel! Decent portion sizes for sharing.
A true gem in Bed-Stuy, and I personally think this is the best restaurant in the neighborhood. The chef clearly puts love and care in his food. The dishes are delicious, the service friendly and impeccable and it is very reasonably priced. I am sad that they don’t have more customers (selfishly I don’t mind as you can get a table easily for now, but I hope they get more recognition)
I went to Mama Fox for the first time Labor Day weekend for brunch. NOT one thing I could complain about. The thing that impressed me most is their decor. I am a plant lover and all their plants look fantastic. Will definitely dine there again.😄
Went here couple of times - once late in the evening and once during the brunch. The menu has pretty much something for everyone but not too many items.
The chicken sandwhich and pancake (literally big enough for two persons) were tasty along with cocktails. Service was also on point both times.
The mushroom papardelle and bread pudding were superb. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. And happy hour sangria for $6?! Yas please.
very sweet place on a quiet lovely corner. we had wine, a toast appetizer, and shared a salad and burger with fries. Everything was delicious and fresh. Cute date night spot or out with a friend, parents, really any scenario.
Food was delicious! Tables are bit too close to eachother in my opinion post covid.. wish there were partitions or something. The rigatoni was delicious, still thinking about it 2 weeks later.
