I was looking for a cute coffee shop to spend some time catching up with things. The best service, the lady was super helpful with any question. The muffins were delicous! Definetly a must if you want a little quiet time in a busy city! :)

I'm stayin around the corner of this cute small coffee place, for my holidays, and my friend told me to get the chai latte there: "it's the best!" Well, I walked in, tasted it and OH DAMN YES it is! Since this day, I was every mornin' there to pick one. Muffins and bagels are also so delicious! Staff is super nice and oh, the music is just on point! If you'll are in Franklin Ave, don't hesitate to walk in, it's on the left side from the Starbucks, you'll can't miss it! NICOLE U're DA BEST <3

This place is a great spot if you want an inexpensive bagel and coffee on the go. The black coffee is the best but its $1.75 for a small. The New Orleans coffee though is pretty great. I've always enjoyed their bagels. Note: the place is small with only 2 (maybe 3) tables. This isn't really a place to hang.

Great service I went in on a Monday and the the girl was so nice!! Will come again sometime soon hopefully. I got a bagel with strawberry cream cheese and it was so FRESH!! I do wish however that there would be better AC(why i took off a star). Other than that I also enjoyed how welcoming the decor is really gives off a nostalgic feel.

Small but mostly friendly cafe serving lots of coffee options as well as baked goods. Very limited seating (there are MAYBE three small tables?). I have only gotten the iced coffee here, but OMG IT'S AMAZING. It's New Orleans iced coffee, so I assume that means there's some chicory in it, but whatever is in it, it's so good! And a 16-fl oz cup of it is actually a little cheaper than a 16-fl oz iced coffee from Starbucks next door. So yes, I have been converted! Just make sure you have cash - there is apparently a 50-cent surcharge to charge your purchase to a card under $10. And the employees there have always been friendly and helpful, so no complaints there!

To see this small establishment plugging along as "the borg" of Starbucks infiltrates our part of town (they opened up a franchise right next door to Pulp and Bean) only deepens my already high recommendations of this small community coffee shop. Vanessa and David are two of the usual suspects that you will see working hard and in harmony to provide excellent coffee, tasty pastries and good will to the dedicated line of customers who come stormin' in every work day morning. I have been getting my coffee from this place ever since it opened and hope to be able to continue doing so as the Starbucks swill continues to spread. Yes, the coffee and foodstuffs actually taste better at the Pulp and Bean and have more meaning not only because they do...but because I am choosing to buy from this place rather than a child of the ghost pit of our our casino capitalistic and zombie politics culture. Long live the Pulp and Bean!!!

Great coffee and really friendly service. Nothing but good things to say. It's right next to a Starbucks and there is no comparison. Just a lovely little neighborhood place!

For 4 bucks you can get a delicious bagel and strong coffee. Stop going to the Starbucks next door, you weirdos.

A bit overpriced, homemade kombucha was pretty good, coffee is better than their immediate neighbor but not the best in the area
