Kevin’s a dope ass bartender, which as it turns out, is from Gainesville (the town in Florida I just moved from). Awesome customer service and great food. If you get the Jerk Boy sandwich, add jalapeños to it! You won’t be disappointed with the spice from he pepper and aoli mixed with the sweet from the pineapple 🔥🤙🏼

It's on the other side of town for me, but once we got there it was well worth the travel! Small but intimate. Friendly atmosphere. The waiter was very personable. The menu is well proportioned. We both had the shirt rib sandwich (which was fucking awesome!) I had a side of chips and sweet plantains, while my lady had a side salad and mac&cheese( I personally wasn't a fan of the Mac. But then again it wasn't for me) we also had milkshakes! My lady had the strawberry shake, while I had the bananas foster shake. Both were on point! Everything came up to about $66. All in all great experience and food! We'll definitely be back!

My second time here and the food is really good. The waitress who was also the bar server was attentive and came over several times to check on me and my boyfriend. We will be coming back a third time most definitely.

The food is awesome. They have mastered the art of sandwich making. They have a wide variety of microbrewery beers that greatly complement the food. Good place to bring a friend or two and have a great time.

Great little place with friendly service and some Frank Sinatra/Dean Martin music in the background. The home made rustic tomato soup was awesome as was the Cuatro Quesos on sourdough bread make your own grilled cheese. The Morning Wood was outstanding. Beer was nice and cold/wine refreshing. ooking forward to going back!!

First of all, a big thank you to The Wheelhouse for being such a benevolent host to our #HashtagLunchbagBrooklyn! Truly awesome! After we were done, I had the pleasure of having brunch. Simply put, pure deliciousness! The Strawberry Shake was the best ever with such fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the "Make Your Own" Omelette, nice size portion & to my liking. But the bonus was the Tater Tots, lifelong fav! Staff & Mgt are an awesome group of guys. Happy 1st Year Anniversary! Wishing you many more years of success!

Cute and trendy little stop in the Bushwick/Ridgewood area of Brooklyn. Re gentrified area looking great. Food was good. Had the famous cheese sandwiches. Would definitely return on my next visit to NYC

Went here on Sunday 5/25 for dinner. I'm a little disappointed in myself that my stomach couldn't fit anymore food because everything was that delicious. From the tomato basil soup to the chicken sandwich, and can't leave out the Short Ribs. The quality of the sandwiches were the best I've seen since in years!! Also, make sure you get their famous desert topped with Caramel!! Good Eatin everybody!

A nice restaurant that sells a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches and other things like. Tater tots, salads, soup and Mac and cheese. Service was great I had the New York Sourdough Reuben. I ordered some tater tots for my 18 month old daughter to try. We both enjoyed it.

Downright scrumptious sandwich. I got the Panavia Tornado. Very rich meal. I’ll be full until late tonight. Wonderful server. “Everything is made with love,” Sue, my server tells me. It’s clearly true!

Love this place. One of my absolute favorites in bushwick. They have such good options for lunch. They have a brand new menu with even more options to choose from. I got fish tacos which were so good. You can’t go wrong with their sandwiches. This is what they are known for. The pulled pork is a favorite. Their max and cheese is soooo good. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Had the burger and the Cuban sandwich…the Cuban is good but the burger was way better tbh….it was trivia night the day I went. The prices are cool and I sat outside. The service was awesome and the Brussel sprouts were also amazing. Worth a visit for sure this summer. Cute spot

We were in the area and wanted a tasty bite. This place did not disappoint with flavor! The Mac & cheese was hearty, filling and flavorful. The short rib sandwich was great! Sourdough bread was toasted perfectly and the bite was very satisfying and in-tact for such a bustling sandwich! Pro-tip: dip the sandwich in the tomato soup and you’ll be in flavor-bliss. The service was ok but could’ve been better.

The Wheelhouse has recently changed ownership after nine years, and is now owned by a warm and friendly husband and wife, while retaining the same kitchen staff. They have kept some of the old favorites on the menu but have also included new selections. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and we elected to eat at the cozy bar. My daughter ordered the braised short rib sandwich with tomato soup, and I decided to try the pressed sourdough Reuben. Everything was delicious and nothing disappointed! The food, atmosphere and owners were all delightful and refreshing. Definitely worth a visit, or two!

I come here about once a month, and they never let me down. My go-to is the Braised Short Rib sandwich and a large tomato soup. I actually dined in for the 1st time, and it was a pleasant experience. I've always gotten my food to go, but today I had some time and ate in. Great food, great service, and very filling. Thank you.

The food here is excellent! We get it delivered all the time. If you like Buffalo Wings the Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese is amazing!!! The reuben is excellent. Sandwiches and tomato soup - excellent. Never had a bad meal here. Tater tots with bacon and cheese. OMG. If you're in the mood for this kind of food this seems to be the place.

Cool staff and tasty sandwiches. I recommend the build your own grilled cheese. I will say that the decor is laid back and nice and the drinks are a bit lacking. I had the eggnog and it was very watery but the grilled cheese was amazing! It’s totally worth a try if you’re around and want a solid sandwich!

Great fulling food. The taste of the tomato is sweet but sadly for my taste buds and tart after taste. All off the grilled sandwiches are large and have a great taste. You can substitute didn't proteins for what you like. I'm sad no liquor but the mimosas are made to enjoy.

I’m only reviewing because I want to make sure this place makes money, and stays open, because it’s my favorite sandwich spot in Bushwick. GREAT sandwiches. Been here 5 times, had 5 different sandwiches. All of them were great. Has a nice little covered patio. Lotta beers on tap if that’s your thing. Can’t speak to the rest of the menu but if your googling “best sandwich in Bushwick” and this review pops up just know that I did the same thing, found The Wheelhouse, and it did not disappoint.

I built my own sandwich: sourdough, brie cheese, Vermont cheddar, mushrooms, caramelized onions, and fried egg with tomato soup. I want this for breakfast everyday of my life… i had it for dinner and would do it again. Perfectly toasted bread, incredible soup (i do not like tomato soup alone, but ate all of this one after my sandwich), and the egg and mushrooms didn’t make anything taste soggy. They were all perfect cooked. I’ll be back here a lot.

This place ROCKS. Seriously, maybe the best cubano I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff are so nice and friendly. I’m very glad to have happened upon the place and highly recommend any of their sandwiches. I will say the tomato basil soup was a little lackluster, but that probably has more to do with my own preference for saltier soups. I’m sure most wouldn’t have that same thought.

It was a hot day. We stopped in for a quick bite. The food and drinks exceeded or expectations. We had a stroller and our server was more than accommodating. If you're up for a milk shake, go for it, they're worth it. Bonus: they have a TV and board games
