I came here during my lunch break from work and had the shrimp pad Thai. What a delicious and tasty dish it was. The flavors were so good and everything was delicious. I came for lunch again and had the beef Thai fried rice, and this dish was also delicious. The fried Thai spring rolls and dumplings are so good. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a great Thai food spot. The staff is great and amazing people.

Loved the food and cute local vibes of this place. Cheapest thai iced tea I've seen. They currently have a $19 special that includes an app, entree, and drink (thai iced tea/coffee or soda). After tax/tip it came out to around $25 per person. The thai rolls and fried dumplings (non-veg) were so good. My pad thai was pretty good too, although I've never seen pad thai noodles so thin and stringy. The pad kee mao was SPICY (we got medium spicy) so get mild if you're easily overwhelmed by spice. Overall would definitely come back if I was ever in the area again.

Authentic Thai cuisine. Very tasty dishes, fresh ingredients, super seasoned. Good-priced lunch special, starter and main course to choose from, plus a drink (e.g. Thai iced tea). I especially recommend Steamed dumplings and Red Curry. Very fast and friendly service. A place worth visiting. Take-away dishes as well.

This is hands down the best restaurant in all of New York. It is absolutely the best Thai restaurant in New York. I felt like I was in Bangkok. They do Thai spice so well and it takes me back to Thailand. If you love real spicey Thai this is your spot. No better place.

Food is fresh and amazing... no frills but you will leave full & happy. I have been coming here for over 15 years and have never been disappointed. Please try the fried ice cream!

If I could rate this place higher I would. They compete with Little Tiffin across the street (yes it “looks” cooler) but this place is waaaay more authentic. To Thai Cafe - please consider repainting your walls white! The green is what is scaring customers off! Your food is otherwise soooo good!!!

I went today with my wife because always saw a lot of people inside and it smells good. It was delicious. The curry chicken was great, the chicken with cashew nuts taste really good. And the Singha beer is one of the best I ever tried. We’ll be back!

My apologies for selecting the wrong place to leave a review. I sure will try this place in the near future. The comment below is for Little Tiffin down the block which I will not spend my money there ever! The service was awful. Prejudice behind those smiles. I was told I need reservations but can sit at bar if I wait 10 minutes. Table opened and I asked if we can take seat, again told no because it's reserved. White couple came in without reservations and asked to wait. We then seated at the bar and 2 minutes later, the white couple came after us without reservations seated at the table. I was furious. Racism happens even with the same race (Asian). This restaurant obviously will only provide better service to the "Caucasian". I will never go back again and hope you do not support it behavior.

I saw reviews raving about the green curry so I had to order it. It was without a doubt the best green curry I’ve had in my life.

So glad they are back open from the Coronavirus. Ordered for pickup the first day we knew they were back. We had the classics, a pad Thai and a green curry, but also had the tastiest papaya salad and some calamari. This place is affordable, and the people are the nicest. Being treated so nicely on the phone and in person is definitely something that doesn’t happen all the time when ordering takeout, but Thai Cafe knows what they’re doing. Five stars!!!!

Mmmmmm really delicious!! Just moved from California… and was worried a little by the options available in my area for Asian food. Thai cafe gave me reassurance that my thai cravings will be satisfied 😂 their food was super tasty, fresh, and fast. Not to mention very competitive prices which will definitely mean that I’ll become a regular here. I got their pad thai, their Penang curry and Tom kha soup. All of which I would recommend! Next time I’m going to try something else!

Excellent food, the best Thai Restaurant in New York! Friendly staff members, very professional and courteous service. You don't just come here to eat food, you also make friends. I ride from Jackson Heights all the way to Greenpoint, Brooklyn everytime I am in the mood for Thai food and to socialize with the staff members. The food is fresh and delicious. The food is very authentic and has that homemade taste.
