FOOD
Food was really good and fresh! I ordered vegetarian sushi as I'm allergic to fish and they made sure to confirm every dish had no contact with fish :) Dessert was just okay, it didn't blow any of us away, but it wasn't supposed to be the highlight of the meal anyway.
SERVICE
Everything comes up super quickly! Waiters made sure we always had everything we needed, from refilling water to suggesting side dishes, without being overly intrusive and visiting you every 5 mins, which I very much appreciated!
ATMOSPHERE
The place is cozy, it has dimmed lights that allow you to not feel like you're in a hurry to leave, chairs are comfy and temperature was spot on.
AMAZING sushi 🍣!! Incredibly fresh (coming from someone who is very picky about the quality of fish). Very easy to tell that everything was made-to-order. Highly recommend the **Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice** appetizer.
I will absolutely be trying their delivery service soon as I live nearby!
Our favorite sushi spot, excellent service and even better food, we love the specialty rolls, the sushi platters and the tnt truffle, the warm mushroom salad is also a hidden gem, if your thinking about coming here don’t think twice just go!
Nice Japanese place that you don’t need to wait forever. We got a reservation on Sunday night easily.
Fish is pretty good. We are not sure what to order so we got three sushi dinner. The dinner plate is big, the toro fish is fatty and delicious. We also ordered hot sake and edamame. The edamame size is very big too.
Very nice place, the lights are made comfortable for your eyes. The food was a 10/10. I recommend the "American Dream" roll. The bathroom was a tad bit small. However, it was very clean. The wait was somewhat long, but the food quality was perfect.
I had a very pleasant lunch at Ki Sushi. The space is very nice looking, and I bet it looks even better at night. We ordered a wonderful bottle of sake. I really liked the toro tartare appetizer, tasted wonderful, and the green tea ice cream tempura ice cream. I enjoyed the main star of the meal, which was their sushi omakase, with fish coming straight from Tokyo, but I was expecting a little more on the taste and freshness, given other experiences I have had in the past. Would recommend for japanese restaurant lovers.
Too lazy or tired to get out of the house, I ordered lunch from KI Sushi on my day off today.
I got their’s Roll special and the mushrooms soup. No surprises there. Still one of my favorite sushi place around Brooklyn Downtown.
The mushrooms soup was ok though maybe not exactly as tempting or loaded as in their picture. Was good nevertheless.
Their rolls are very fresh with good fish to rice ratio. The rice was balanced, it wasn’t too packed and had a good flavor.
Everything was amazing. The tuna sashimi was melting in the month. I would go there any time again
Very good! They were very attentive with the service even down to making sure our water was refilled. We were a little indecisive for some things but they were very patient and friendly. The sushi was delicious. I would like to try their omakase the next time we go back. Highly recommend!
I am the vegan of the group and I ordered two basic veggie rolls; the sweet potato tempura and the avocado roll. Both were good and the avocado tasted very fresh! The atmosphere and the service at Ki Sushi was fantastic, we had a large group and they were very accommodating. The inside of the restaurant is also very cute and spacious.
I’m (not) the vegan of the group. I ordered multiple special rolls and all were great along with the quality of fish. I also ordered the fatty tuna which just melted as soon as you ate it and my favorite on my plate. Food came out pretty quick for a Friday night. Table size was great for a large group and everyone loved the desserts. There weren’t many options for vegan/non dairy desserts which would be my only thing to mention.
To start enjoyed shumai, crispy tuna, and then had the shashimi/sushi combo and volcano roll.
Sashimi was great, but didn’t love the sushi pieces from the combo. Has a very nice sushi bar and want to go back and try their omakase
There omakasi is amazing. The fish is flown in from japan. You can taste the difference ! My favorite is the blue fin toro tartar toped with caviar and gold flakes. I get two every time I go lol. I can never get enough of it ! 5 star All around! Highly recommended
Pleasant customer service experience. Greeted at the table with a warm towel is a great touch. Of all my dishes the garlic broccoli was my favorite. Would return again so when I’m not pregnant to try sushi menu. My fiancé enjoyed the Tartare and miso soup most.
As someone with celiac disease, finding a restaurant where I won’t get poisoned can be challenging. When the staff know the seriousness of it and actively assist in accommodating a dietary restriction, I am able to feel so much more at ease and can actually enjoy the food. I really enjoyed everything and appreciated the service. Highly recommend
This is our new favorite sushi restaurant in Brooklyn. The sushi and presentation are first class, the service is excellent, and the room is spacious with an understated modern chic. A great place to go after a performance at BAM.
This place is always great, with delicious appetizers and hot dishes, it’s always a wonderful experience with family or friends. The chefs really know what they’re doing with sushi, as well as delicate seafood like scallops and shrimp. A delicious experience each and every time.
We’ve been going here for years since Taro closed nearby and this place rivals any in the city for sushi but is actually cheaper. Fish has ALWAYS been fresh in our experience and well prepared. The dish to get is Omakase, the little details of truffle on this fish or crispy pearls on that fish complement beautifully. We like it even more now than the previous place. We moved out to NJ recently and still come back for their sushi. How can you tell a real sushi place from the rest? They don’t serve “white tuna” (which is not tuna) and they don’t hide behind spicy mayo.
I travel to BK just to get my Ki sushi fix. I’ve only gone to their Smith Street restaurant but the Flatbush one has delivered consistently delicious food. The seaweed salad was so fresh. We got the Dynamite Signature roll but I liked the spicy tuna roll more as it had a crunchy texture to it. Overall, one of my go-to sushi places.
Beautiful ambiance loved the vibes the service was great I’m not much of a sushi eater more of an amateur lol but when my pallet feels to eat it this was it. Definitely will be back and recommend.
