Not gonna lie, we fell in love with Floyd. We definitely went off peak, and at 1am most nights, but free Bocce, great beers and loads of space? Honestly this has your favourite local written all over it.
Awesome, low key place to have a few drinks and (GASP) a conversation. Staff is lovely and the prices reasonable.
As timeless as Tina Turner singing “simply the best.” Grab a $5 beer and make yourself at home.
Chilled local bar which shows sports on a big screen at the back. Small selection of draught beers and the usual selection of spirits.
Most importantly it has a bocce pitch stretching down the bar. A number of leagues play here.
Great mid sized bar. Pub/dive atmosphere. Some couch areas, lots of standing room, and a single bocce ball lane. They also allow you to order food into the bar which is great. The people are usually quite mixed from younger to older, good vibe either way.
(One time I went to a wedding after party here and it was maybe the most fun wedding I've been to, don't advise bringing all the floral arrangements though, the bartenders didn't like that)
Great bar and amazing spot to watch premier league. football. One of the best soccer bars in the city. Stop by to watch Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester City, etc. Get an Irish coffee because they open early at 10am. If you're looking for a soccer bar, this is a soccer bar.
Great laid back dive bar, I've been coming here for years.
Amazing little bocce bar with great beers on tap and a great atmoshpere
Really interesting bar with a big bocce court in the middle.
Generally quiet, unassuming bar which lets you bring your own food. There are several comfortable couches, small TVs (with no sound) to watch popular games, and a shuffleboard court. The drinks are fairly standard but well priced for NYC. The magic is in the bartenders. They're wonderful and considerate, especially for larger groups. I would recommend for a quiet drink with a few close friends.
