I ended up at China Kettle for the first time Fall 2018 because the restaurant at the shopping center I originally planned on going to was closed...Even though I new it existed for years I always thought it was your basic Chinese take-out..But no this is a sit-down/table service restaraunt...Since then I've been there about 6 times and each time the food was GOOD, and the(same) waiter was friendly, courteous and attentive. This is a small local neighborhood gem.
One of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten in, outside of Chinatown. I feel their best dish is their General Tso chicken. It is nicely cut, white chicken breast, without all the extra breading normally found on Tso chicken. Their dim sum is equally as good! David, who answers the phones and is their maître d. Highly recommended.
Ive lived in the area for about 6 years now, and this is still my go-to place for chinese food. It isn't a huge fancy restaurant, but their food just seems very high quality and not cheap. For example, when I order seseme chicken, its almost all pure white meat chicken (most places use a ton of batter). The beef tastes good and lean. They dont drench everything with sauce, but its all not dry at all. The fried rice is flavorful, which is better than the bland rice I got at some places around here.
I never ever rated any Chinese restaurent before, but this one is outstanding in service, from ordering to delivery and their food is the best of all the Chinese restaurants I have ever been to so far. The lady on the phone is very patient and nice.
Better than the other Chinese restaurants around the neighborhood really good tasting food nice and fresh highly recommended prices are reasonable staff is friendly, service is good food is great.

Best American Chinese food I ever had. Try the general tso's. My favorite. I live in Staten Island but whenever in this area I go here.
