Love love this place. Tried both locations. Lamb and chicken Haneeths and Saltah all so so good. Their kebabs are juicy and tender. Chicken and lamb zorbian are my husband's favorites. It's like a asian fried rice or a indian biryanri but much more flavor. The lamb soup is to die for. Bread so good and nice texture. Their tea a must try. Every dish compliments each other. 100% recommended.

My kids beg me to take them here . That's how good it is. The lamb haneeth falls off the bone. My kids love the soup. My favorite is the hummus with lamb, and the tea is amazing! Service is fire. Absolutely delicious.

This authentic Yemeni restaurant serves the most fresh and delicious Yemeni food we have had. Our personal favorite was the Lamb Fatah, which was packed with flavor. The lamb Haneeth was grilled and roasted to perfection, and the oven clay bread which we got on the side was no doubt a 10/10. They have fast service and a cozy atmosphere, we will definitely be back. Overall 9.5/10!

No frills place with hearty food and huge portions. We sat down and weโre immediately served amazing homemade bread and a rich broth. We had the lamb haneeth, which was enough for two people and leftovers. Friendly service. I will be back to try more.
amazing food. huge portions. the amount of free side dishes that the food comes with (lamb soup, freshly baked bread, and salad) is already enough to fill you up. The free self serve tea they offer is a must try. Highly recommend the lamb haneeth, hummus, and the fatah with honey.
Service can be slow but it is because they can be so insanely busy.
when in Brooklyn , do visit this cafe ๐คitโs a must. their service always on top. we love their fresh Khubz they serve with soup after we place our order. khubz is soo good. We have tried lamb haneeth, chicken kAbsa, lamb chops, baba ghnoush. everything taste amazing. last but not the least , their Qahwa (Tea) is refreshing.

It was my first time trying Yemeni food and I love it. I honestly didnโt know what to order at fist but I feel like all the dishes here are amazing.
They have so many different lamb dishes if you are a fan of lamb. Lamb fahsah is like curry made easy with shredded lamb. It was served in a stone (or clay?) bowl so it was hot the whole time. This dish is perfect for cold winter night in NY.
Lamb haneeth is no doubt the most popular Yemeni dish. I saw so many people ordered it for good reason. The lamb was slow cooked until it was fell off the bone. It was served with Rice & vegetable sauce. Vegetable sauce is so so yummy that I wanted extra.
The restaurant also gave us salad, lentil soup and bread. They make sure we never run out of the bread. We had leftover bread so we ordered some hummus for to go, but they give us more bread ๐. Their hummus is seriously the best Iโve had. It is like vegan pate.

Went here for the first time.. and I am impressed! There food is so good and flavorful! My absolute favorite is called the โFahsaโ you need to get it! You will not regret it! I ordered a chicken kebab.. which I donโt recommend. The chicken was dry and not so flavorful. My husband got the โHaneethโ, which was amazing and delicious. Service is a bit slow. But overall will be coming back!
Never disappoints !!! Everything is super tasty, service is always efficient and super fast. Yemeni tea after food is an absolute must and it is actually free if you're eating in the restaurant.

This was my first time having Yemeni cuisine and it was delicious! We first arrived and were greeted with soup and fresh bread when we sat down. We ordered the lamb haneeth and hummus. I loved the lamb but the hummus was just ok for me. We also tried the tea (help yourself!) and harissa (for a charge) which was a real treat! It felt like you were walking down the streets as they had videos of people walking on tvs throughout the restaurant which was a fun new vibe. I was a little annoyed that I ordered while my bf wasnโt at the table and the order didnโt get placed until he was the one asking for it (twice!).
Had the most delicious, rich, flavorful dinner at Yemen Cafe today. I highly recommend the haneeth and fahsa. Food came out real quick, we barely waited and it was there. Sizzling, fresh and delicious. The meat was super flavorful and fell off the bone. The spiced chai at the end was an absolute delight. Family-friendly and clean. We will be back, thank you!

Good, satisfying, homemade style food in a laidback, family friendly environment. I got the lamb haneeth, which is definitely a big enough portion for two to share and it comes with salad, soup and pita. I also ordered hummus which was so delicious I couldnโt stop eating it. Iโm already craving it again, I canโt wait to go back.

Want an authentic middle eastern experience? Look no further, the food is great, the speed of service was incredible. I sat down and before ordering I was given Soup and bread, then came a salad. You will get your money's worth and maybe enough food to take home since the portions are pretty large. The pricing was great for the quantity of food. The staff are friendly and attentive.
