Very nice establishment combining a bar with a pizzeria. Fairly priced draft beer (several taps) with pitchers available. Pizza nicely made and affordable. Bathrooms cramped in true Williamsburg stylle! NYC Public Advocate candidate Daniel Christmann appeared here on March 19th, 2019, to address the Brooklyn Libertarian Party.
Cherry Tree is nice bar or meeting area, comedy room and fast bar food or pizza of American gastronomy, fairly priced , lots of choices for drinks and beers. Here is offering free wi-fi. Friendly staff helpful attentive. Despite all this, Larry Sharpe appeared here on March 2019 to address supporters after his historic run for New York Governor in 2018.
Enjoyed myself thoroughly until the new bartender Chris trainee started getting unprofessional. I will still return here because the Trainer behind the bar handled the situation properly. Chris can make a good cocktail though, to be honest lol.

Cozy spot with a pretty good beer selection that shares space with the pizzeria next door. The back yard is a great spot to hang out in the warmer months, as is the cool open-air loft space above the pizzeria. They have pretty great happy hour deals too (pizza pies were 50% off when I was there on a Tuesday).
I've only been here one, but I enjoyed my visit. The bartender was friendly and engaging. The bar stools are comfortable and there are plenty of them without them being on top of each other. All I had was cider and a shot of whiskey so I have no idea if the mixed drinks are any good.
The backyard is a hidden gem, and the pizza next door is killer. Solid tap list and a good spot to catch a game. Otherwise, this is a pretty standard bar (and there is nothing wrong with that). Check out their daytime weekend specials, which are a steal.
Love this place. Best margherita pies in New York City. Half price pies until 8. Cheap pitchers of beer all the time. You can't go wrong here and definitely don't leave without getting a large pie.
Great laid back bar in Gowanus/Park Slope with a good selection of beers on tap. There's a nice outdoor space, the staff is great, and they have trivia! It's a few blocks from Atlantic Terminal, so it's easy to meet up with friends from all over without too much of a hassle.

Okay bar. Prices are a bit high for my liking, and the space is a bit awkwardly set up during crowded moments and for large groups. That said, the selection is good, there are good food options, and the comedy shows are fantastic.
Cherry Tree truly impressed me. I've passed by many times before but never visited until a friend said we were going for their killer happy hour specials (until 8pm). I was staying with her for the weekend this past week (from LA) and she lives just a few blocks away.
She talked about how awesome their pizza deal was and..... it truly was a VALUE & a quality pie. $8 for a HUGE, HUGE margherita pizza. We easily split that amongst THREE people (who were beyond full at that point).
Additionally, I've had bars do whatever versions of "whiskey and ginger" but this place MAKES IT DELICIOUS!
Six cocktails, one big pie = $12 and some change PER PERSON (three ppl in total). WHAT A DEAL. WHAT A VALUE!
One of the friendlier group of bartenders I've had the pleasure of being a patron to in Brooklyn. Not only does this bar have a fantastic 40+ tap selection, Sat-Sun from 1-6 pm you get two pitchers of PBR and a pizza pie from next door for $20. Beat that.
