Had a bagel toasted with tuna. It’s actually one of the best I’ve tried in Brooklyn.
The bagels are awesome. The flavor, the amount and price
Good food, good customer service, koshe
Very good old fashioned bagels. Only in person order, nothing over the phone
Pros
Bagel sandwich was great
In and out in 5 min
Cons
Cost 20 cents to toast... if you get an egg and cheese sandwich expect to pay a dollar for the cheese.
Coffee was meh.
Place was not super modern
Love their everything bagels. They don't ad a few crumbs and call it an everythign bagel like other places. Freshest bagels in Brooklyn. Also like their tri color pasta and low fat, no celery tuna, tastes delicious. Others drown their tuna in mayo. This place you can't even tell there is any.
Freshly baked bagels every morning, yummy. Nice spreads however you like it, yummy. Freshly brewed coffee, yummy.
You wanna have a sandwich on baguette? Bingo!
The only thing I don't like is that they close early but the place is goooood!
Their bagels are amazing here, very good. Service is pretty good but the grill food, home fries, can be a hit or a miss. Depending who is servicing your order and cooking the home fries, they might sometimes overcook them to the point of burning them. Prices are really good, especially their breakfast menu.
Nice little breakfast shop. Pretty good food and service. Only downside is they don't have tables to eat in - only takeout.
Good, Fresh bagels, they make it fresh right in front of you. I got the whole wheat everything wheat bagels to go. They are great when toasted, solid/crispy top with soft center. Has all the perfect elements of a good NY Style boiled bagel.
The wait in line however is long. The workers/owner don't seem to have a great personality. It's typical, "what you want" without any greeting of "how are you doing". I'm big on customer service; smile and say HI. I know we live in NYC and it's hard because of the jerk offs that come in.
Also, I'm the type of person to buy a few bagels for relatives or for breakfast the next day. These bagels are not meant to be eaten tomorrow. It was hard as a brick the next morning. I had to get a butcher knife to saw that in half.
That being said, it's a good bagel, if eaten that day and you don't mind the crowd and pushy get out my store service.
Advice: PLEASE MAKE PUMPERNICKEL BAGELS! I love those bagels.
Everything in this store is so delicious. Their bagels are unbelievable and their salads are really really good. They're also not so terrible on their pricing. Their cheeses are amazing. The store is basically one of the best breakfast spots in Brooklyn.
Very reliable for high-quality bagels. The breakfast special of $11.99 for a bagel with eggs, coffee, home fries etc is a pretty good deal, but the lox is now $40/lb. Everything is very fresh and high quality, but keep in mind the cream cheese is "halav Yisrael" meaning that it will expire sooner than cream cheese that's not. Try a Marcus, it's a secret menu item - Muenster, lettuce, tomato, mustard and mayo.
