Simple place with a top-notch patties. In these parts of Brooklyn when the slice craving hits? Grab a patty instead! Warm, wholesome, tasty.

While the details of which way the line goes gets wonky at times, you can't beat the luscious taste of their patties! Juicy, flavorful, meaty with so much crust you wanna dip the extra in gravy! So good.

Local joint that’s highly recommended and visited by the Jamaican community. The shop doesn’t look like much inside or out, but the patties are delicious and the owners are more than friendly. Hop in for a treat to taste the true essence of the neighborhood on this side of Prospect Park.

I love this place and Desmond the owner is a great person. I love the patties and I use to like the pepper shrimp but the last time I purchased it, it was not the same. The spice buns are good too!!

Their beef patty is a must try. Definitely taste like it was made on site. The party was soft and flaky with a good amount of filling that’s tasty. Check it out if you’re nearby.

If the bread and patty wasn't so good I would give a 3 for service. It takes too long to buy. I watch people walk away out of disgust and lack of patience. The employees can't be arguing at the counter. It doesn't look good. Shouldn't take 30mins at any point in time to spend less than $10. You have great product you should be making more money!!!

If you want the best salmon patties, best fish or vegetable soup, cake, etc., this is the place. The service needs some improving (e.g. lines can get confusing sometimes-perhaps a # system would work, but some how people figure it out). The workers can sometimes appear to be a bit grumpy, but they are sweet. I think some customers can be a bit rude, so it may cause the "on guard look". A note to the owner, please put some heat on . It should not be as cold as outside inside. Besides, your workers need to feel warm while working so hard. Hint: Might cause them to be sick and call out. Over all, I love, love love the food.

Had to try the infamous ackee patty and was pleasantly surprised, homemade pastry was good, never had ackee before so was interesting to try. Beef Patty was good, but didnt enjoy it as much, prefer the lighter pastry personally. Have to go back for the Salmon n Chicken Patty. Service is pretty slow, think its cash only, but if youre not in a rush its totally worth the wait!

Been going to this bakery since living in the area for more than 25 years where the woman workin in the front was a Chinese Jamaican woman, who is a twin. Today, Aug 9, 2021 my mother told me the bakery will be closing.😔☹️😢😢😭😭 Their last day is also today 8/9/21! Im totally shocked and surprised! Their bakery items esp the patties are one of a kind and taste different and better than other JA bakery items in Flatbush, Brooklyn. I will def miss them and their patties, sugar buns, rock cakes, bun and cheese and the hardo bread. All the best to the JA PRIDE BAKERY OWNERS AND WORKERS.

Affordable, tasty patties! Right by the B41 bus stop in case your tummy needs a refill. Lots of other baked goods that I've never had.
