We just tried a new restaurant this evening. The food was delicious! There were 2 other dishes; black squid ink pasta with shrimp ragu and margherita pizza that we just gobbled up without taking photos! The olive oil lemon cake was moist and delicious! It was not too sweet but the right amount. I will totally come back here again and try other dishes! Also, the service was friendly and amazing besides the beautiful washroom!

This place was on my list for a few weeks and I am glad I finally was able to go. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the cocktails were good. Ordered the ricotta della casa, and that is a must starter! The bread that comes with the ricotta is so crispy šŸ˜ also started with the fennel salad, which was very refreshing with the oranges. For entree, we had the grilled artichoke pizza and house burger. The burger was very well done, which is surprising for an Italian restaurant. Iā€™d definitely order it again! (Great fries paired with it). Iā€™ve never had artichoke pizza, but I think they turned me into it. I will definitely have it again! This was a great dinner spot. Iā€™d recommend. Again, the service was lovely and everyone was so attentive.

Went here for a special occasion and the ambiance was very nice. Service and wait time was amazing and we were attended at a reasonable time. Drinks, food and dessert were all really great in terms of portion size and taste. Would come here again.

Great place & nice staff! Addendum: They have expanded their menu and we liked the food very much, even though it is quite on the pricey side. Nevertheless the attention to detail and obvious care for their customers make up for it.

We loved everything about The Longshoreman. As a brussels sprouts connoisseur, I give theirs a high mark. The craft cocktails are stout, yet delicious and made with fresh/clean ingredients. And the service was excellent. I highly recommendĀ popping in for dinner, a drink, or both.

This place was great, but I didnā€™t love some of the items we ordered. Itā€™s new and still working out the menu, so I would definitely come back again. Pizza was delish, and staff was awesome.

Small but comfortable. Service is top shelf. From appetizers to coffee and dessert the food was outstanding. A wonderful dining experience. The only downside is parking. Make sure to call for reservations since seating is limited

We've loved this spot since practically the day it opened, and it's recently become our regular stop for Sunday dinner. The food is delicious, and we've had just about everything on the menu. Cocktail menu and wine list cover all the basics with lots of modern twists and newer favorites as well. Service has always been welcoming and personal, even with our two-year-old daughter in tow. (The kid's pasta with garlic and oil might be the best thing they serve, and they have crayons!) There's usually a pasta or pizza special in addition to the three options for each that are on the menu, and they've been more than willing to accommodate special requests for pizza toppings, especially during off hours.

Visiting Brooklyn for first time. My son recommended The Longshoreman because my husband wanted a burger and I felt like Italian. We were both pleased! The burger and fries were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. My Margherita pizza was just as it should be, chewy, lovely sauce and fragrant basil. I added the arugula watermelon salad which was so yummy with the feta cheese and light dressing. My son had the linguini and clams, which I tried and again was not disappointed. A fun stop at the bar while we waited gave us a chance to meet and chat with George, our bartender, and enjoy a delicious gin, grapefruit and dill cocktail called the Real Dill. If you are in the area, make a point to stop by this hidden gem in Cobble Hill ( I think). Well worth it!
