Best jazz in Brooklyn! Real authentic old school jazz masters that are amazing to see in such a small place, plus some well-vetted up-and-comers. Very warm crowd. Afrocentric and proud--and welcoming to all. Music, cultural events and community forums. Not much food, just good coffee and tea (several different African varieties) and pastries. Stop by one of the many restaurants on Nostrand/Fulton before attending if you are hungry.
Always great service. Always phenomenal music. I have yet to be disappointed with the entertainment.
Excellent place to visit and stay a while. Music is off the hook. Real music for YOUR MIND BODY AND SOUL. SO GO GET LIFTED INTO HAPPINESS AND STOP BY SISTA’S PLACE BROOKLYN’s JAZZY PLACE TO ENJOY!!!!! All our welcome. DJKTH. I had a wonderful time. Felt like home.
Wonderful, Relaxing Atmosphere. The people are nice, friendly and very welcoming. My first time visiting, was invited by a friend, who visited quite a few times. Will definitely go again, The jazz band was on point.
My first visit to this venue was actually a special event which marked the 50th anniversary of the Charles Tolliver All Stars. That was the name of the performance which also marked the opening performance of the latest season at Sistas' Place. I was pleased to be a participant and will surely keep an eye of their performance calendar.
This event setting place gets packed so you might want to get there early. But a lot of Brothers and sisters come here and extend their support. Peace🇱🇾to the almighty Black man Woman and Child 🇱🇾
