Great food and ambience. Our server was well informed and gave us options that weren't even on the menu.Awesome.....one of my NYC favorites for lunch. Certainly not tremendous quantity of food; but, the quality is superb.
CUSTOMER SERVICE OFF THE CHARTS. Fisheye has an owner "Lance" who goes above & beyond for his customers. He knows the true meaning of Customer Service!
Me, my sister & her god-daughter decided to come here in the early evening for a quick bite & drink. They explained they were in the process of setting up to open but wasn't exactly ready to receive customers. We completely understood & decided to leave. Lance (the owner) called us back apologized, explaining they were in the middle of evening setup and accommodated us .
THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT!!!! Oxtail fell right off the bone & the snapper was fried nice & dry like my sister likes it! Rice & Peas delicious. Drinks PERFECTION, You can tell they don't serve watered down stuff!
This is my 3rd visit & I can honestly say I will be a regular! Great spot, accommodating, personable employees & owner!
Thanks Lance for making your establishment a pleasant experience!
Great Food. I went to Fish Eye Restaurant Friday evening with my girlfriends ..We ordered crab legs ,rasta pasta and oxtail. Everything was very tasty. Great cooks, i must say.The only problem was that the food took a little big longer than i expected.A lady who was walking around to each table, stopped by our table and introduced her self as Jeanette. She asked us if everything was ok. We told her we that the food was taking too long. She explained to us that almost all the dishes were cooked to order and she was going in the kitchen to check on it. She came back in less than 3 minutes and told us that they were being plated. .We thanked her.She even came back after we finished eating to make sure everything was ok .The food was worth the wait.It was very delicious and full of flavor. My friends and I must make another visit within the next two weeks. I would definitely recommend Fish Eye to everyone...
Definitely recommended. I always wanted to go to fish eye to dine , but could never seem to make it, even when i keep promising lance, one of the owners that i would come. he would tell me every time i run into him just come n check out the food.,you will really love it.i truly did not think anybody else food would be better than foot prints ,but i finally stopped by with some friends who were celebrating a birthday last saturday nite, tried the ginger salmon with stir fried potatos, i got to tell u it was fantastic. would certainly recommend that dish. our waitress suggested it and she also offered one of specialty drinks called panty dropper, dont even wanna talk about that. love the food, love the drinks, absolutely love the decor.just one problem though ,the wait for the food was too long. i hope u will improve on that.good experience overall.
Wonderful night. This lounge is a Great find in Brooklyn. The food is amazing far beyond expectation. Especially geared towards Caribbean seafood dishes . I had the shrimp with stuffed crab meat and spinach for dinner and the salmon balls for an appetizer. The food was delicious and so was the price. They have a fully stocked bar and great drinks. Try it next time your in the area, you won't be disappointed! I certainly wasn't.
The drinks and the food are excellent. Customer service is great, I come from out if town and one place in the list is FishEye. I would highly recommend this establishment you won't regret it.
Great atmosphere... Awesome chill spot also great Food and Drinks (^_^)
Valentine's Night Was Great. On Valentine's day my husband and I went to Footprints but when we got there the wait time was too long. My husband then suggested to go to Fish Eye where he had been to a couple of times to have a drink, but he never ate there. We decided to go to Fish Eye, and we were greeted by a tall slender gentleman who we later found out was one of the owners. He brought us to our seat and a waitress came over shortly with a menu. Overall my experience there was great and I was glad my husband had suggested to go there. The food and service was good, the price was very reasonable, and the music was very appropriate for the occasion. I will definitely be going to Fisheye for Valentines Day next year and most likely even before that.
Great, great ,place. I love fisheye the is great the food is excellent , a very great place to go and just chill have some food and drinks and listen to some music>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the staff are very polite and nice
I had my daughters graduation party at Fish Eye Bar & Grill on Sunday September 4th right before Labor Day and owner Dave give the date I wanted without any problem. I used Fish Eye's food menu and that was great! Everything was on time and proffesstional. I recommend Fish bar and Grill to anyone for parties.
Love it. I travel all the way from NJ...love fisheye and it is the only spot in bklyn that i can always count on for good music and good food alike. Crowd is very laid back, no issues, no drama and more importantly no gunshots ...food's good for the price however if you want oxtail call ahead and check if it's on the menu because as we've learned it is not a staple item on the menu/ not anymore. The rasta pasta is on point..just add some jerk chicken and you're good to go.
Relaxing place to hang out with gf's. It was the first time my gf and i went to fisheye bar and grill and i could say it was worth our while. the food was fingure licking and oh gosh what a good rasta pasta. I could say the price range is descent and its jus the right spot to hang out with good music and vibes. it is my new hang out place now..
Nice Experience. I went to Fisheye the other nigh after hearing many good things about the place. I went with two of my girlfriends and we had a great time. I had stuffed lobster which was tasty and my friends had salmon which they enjoyed. The only thing i can honestly complain about was the service. The waitress was pleasant however the wait time was too long. It was worth waiting though.
Ambiance and Seafood..my favs!. The ambiance here is great, we stayed quite awhile and enjoyed their bar menu. The Bammie was a sight to see, one of my favorite Jamaican dishes, and the crab cakes were also outstanding.
Luv it. I have been going to De-eye as we call it - its a wonderful place to hang - meet people and have fun -
the drinks price compare to the city is good - I can cook and when I tell you "De Chef a say one" - music and di

cool - mek yuh feel relaxed - everybody have dem own opinion - respect to Management and Staff of De-Eye
Again and Again. I'll keep coming back to Fish Eye again and again. The vibe is great and the food is always prepared well. Its open late and it's a nice place to relax, eat, drink and listen to good music. I've never been let down. Friday and Saturday nights get really busy after 1am though. My favorite dish from here is the cajun salmon. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are not afraid to give their own experience with different dishes if I have a hard time making up my mind about what to eat. I love it and I will be back again and again.
