I am so happy with my experience with ordering from this bakery. Everything I asked them to do with my birthday cake they perfected. The icing was amazing and the cake was very moist. Their prices are very affordable and well worth it. They were so kind when I came into order my cake as well when I arrived to pick it up.When my family saw the cake they were absolutely stunned and so was I. I will 100% be ordering from them again. I ordered a special cake from Holloway’s for daughter’s 3rd birthday last year. The party theme she wanted was unique - “Spider-Man and Unicorns” - and I wasn’t sure how I’d incorporate the two very different types of characters. When I went to Holloway’s I was afraid combining the two themes might look tacky, but the cake ended up turning out beautiful! The staff were very accommodating and helpful, and had great cake decorating suggestions to fit my requests. I absolutely loved it and my daughter was so excited when she saw it.
Best bakery literally EVER! My family began coming to Hollaway’s back in 2003 due to a wedding that needed a cake. They have the best cupcakes, cakes, and cookies I have ever had! Whenever I am down at the Golden Isle’s I HAVE to stop at Hollaway’s.
This cake exceeded my expectations! This was a huge hit at my daughters party and everyone loved it and of course it was delicious as well.

We recently ordered a cake to celebrate Graduation night. After searching for bakeries in our location (an hour from Brunswick) we decided to choose this establishment based on its reviews and further research. I must say that our decision was the BEST one ever! Their customer service was on point. I never had to wait long for a reply via FB and they were very friendly and accommodating. The cake itself was delicious and had a melt in your mouth taste with every bite. It was a huge success overall. We would like to Thank Hollaway's Bakery for helping to make the day for our Graduate even more special with those additional touches. Much appreciated!!
Wife and I made a spontaneous trip to Saint Simons Island today and on the way back to Florida searched for local bakeries and was very fortunate to choose Hallaway's Bakery. Fantastic Bakery and they had gingerbread men, women and a bear. I have not enjoyed gingerbread this good in over 40 years, so good. Wife enjoyed cinnamon sugar cookie that she loved and saved her key lime filled cupcake for later, which I have no doubt will be delicious. Next trip to Brunswick, Hallaway's will be my first stop and I will buy all of the gingerbread items.
We have been using this bakery for over a decade for birthdays. And sometimes we stop in to buy a cake or cupcakes simply because they are THE BEST, most heavenly cakes we have ever had. I can't think of anyone that doesn't love their cupcakes and the variety is incredible. THE Best buttercream frosting and the cakes are so moist I don't know how they do it. Wonderful customer service, they always try to decorate to even the goofiest of requests and the prices are very reasonable. If the heavenly scent doesn't sell you when you walk in the door then nothing will. Simply AWESOME!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone in Brunswick that needs a cake that will taste delicious and done for a reasonable price. Plus its family ran and operated. They have great customer service. They recently done my baby shower cake for my little girl and the cake tasted delicious everyone loved it including myself. I won't be ordering cakes from anyone else in Brunswick but them.
Grew up eating their gingerbread men and cupcakes. The best traditional cupcakes ever without all that foolishness on top. I live out of state now and can't enjoy when in town since I'm vegan. I've asked would they may a special order of vegan cupcakes, but each time get a no. Would be a good thing since the vegan interest in spreading in the city....

Birthday cake experts! This place has been around for over 40 years and they never disappoint. The prices are competitive with other bakeries and supermarkets, but the cakes are much better. They also have a great selection of cookies, cupcakes and other pastries. They are even open on Saturday.
I was VERY happy with my wedding cake from Hollaway's! It was beautiful AND delicious. We got so many compliments on the taste. It was moist and had so much flavor. They were easy to work with and affordable. I would highly recommend Hollaways!
I have used Hollaway's for every event for over twenty years. They made my wedding cake, baby shower cake and every one of my daughters birthday cakes, three graduation cakes, and will hopefully be doing me the honor if creating my daughter's wedding cake when she gets married but will be doing my anniversary cake in june.
Wonderful service and as soon as you walk in you are enticed with the deliciousness that comes from only this bakery!! The smell alone makes you want to buy everything!! But the taste will make you a life long customer for sure!!
Really nice bakery, the ladies that work the front counter are wonderful and friendly. The coconut cupcake was really good and I can hardly wait till I try the yellow and the chocolate cakes we picked up.
