We went there for my birthday, food was excellent, we ordered steaks and pastas. Pricey but Both dishes were great and worth the $$$. Our server was super friendly. She made my birthday even more special. We’re 3 hours away and definitely be coming back.

This is the best place ever. The staff is outstanding and friendly and there is so much food. We got the ribs and they were tender and moist. The soup was so good and the salad was yummy. I get blue cheese salad dressing and I was so impressed with all the blue cheese. The choice of desert was great. I got the after dinner liquor and my husband got the sundae. So you get soup, salad, potatoes, rice, main course, and dessert. It was well worth the money. And there is so much food we only bought one main course and a side kick which means you get one main dish but everything else you get the same things.

When you enter the restaurant they have stuffed animals as decor throughout. Inside has a very western log cabin feel. The portions are large. We order a kids burger and kids popcorn shrimp. These are more than enough to feed an average adult. We also got the 35oz Gambler topped with grilled mushrooms, peppers, and onions. Note than enough for a family to share. Same with the half rack of ribs we ordered. The food is good. I was get impressed on how well cooked the meat were for the size of it. The staff there is very nice and friendly. It was a bit pricey but overall a good dining experience.

Wow, we stopped here on our way back from Solvang, CA and I must say, it was worth it.It starts with a cowboy stew with beans and salsa. Then a nice garden salad. Then I had a full rack of pork ribs and it was way more than I expected. Very good! My wife and Aunt had the "Tombstone" (sirloin steak) and Uncle had the liver and onions. I gotta say, if you're passing through, this is a worthwhile stop!!!

Oh my. Talked a amazing dining experience. The minute you park the car you know you are in for a special experience. So many authentic old western artifacts you don't know where to look in this huge cabin restaurant. Talk about getting ample food....now I know why so many people were walking out with doggie bags. Beef ribs superb, salad with real blue cheese dressing, hearty beef soup, I could go on....you just need to experience for yourself.

Steaks were excellent, a little pricy so happy they were delicious. Before the meal is served they serve a bunch of starters, beans was one of them, the other two were just as unappealing, they could bring out one nice bread and cut dinner cost. The atmosphere is is what it's all about here, pretty much any animal you can think of is taxidermied and on a wall along with all kinds of old western memorabilia, it's an awesome collection. Employees are not as friendly as you would think being in such a fun atmosphere. We took our 9 year old grandson and he absolutely loved it!!!😄

This is definitely the kind of place you go on an empty stomach. Prices are on the higher side, but portions more than make up for it. (As pictured) My husband ordered "THE GAMBLER" a 32 oz cut top sirloin that we both more than could've shared. I had the "HIGH ROLLER" which was more doable, but after already having the vaquero soup and salad there wasn't much room for me to get past the 6 oz Maine Lobster tail. A great steak date night option, or better yet - a place to take a group of friends.

Omg talk about a very fun anniversary dinner. The food was good. Cheaper than most steak houses in solvang and Buellton. But the ambiance and the staff are sooo nice. If you are really hungry this is the place. They have the soup, tequila beans and salsa. Every steak dinner includes a salad with a dressing of your choice and a root beer float in the end. I think this is one of my favorite restaurants in that area. My husband enjoyed so much
