Been here 4x already and the food never disappoint. One of the best to serve galbitang and donkatsu if I typed them all correctly. Make sure you come early before lunch or dinner time as they gets pretty busy and crowded. Although their parking lot is small, don't get discouraged as you can park along Mcneil lane too for street parking. It's just a few steps away from the restaurant.

Literally the BEST and authentic Korean food we had in the States. Their kimchis are especially top notch. If this place was close we would come here every week.

Welcoming atmosphere, great food, amazing service. We were not familiar enough with Korean cuisine, but waitress helped with it, made recommendations which dish to prefer at the first time, how to serve it and what to taste. Portions are huge, food is delicious. Perfect service

** Write your name on the waitlist as soon as you get here. Keep in mind this is a busy place with both an indoor and an outdoor seating area. Every time I come there is a wait, but this place is worth the wait. Like most Korean restaurants, you will have to flag down the server to order or ask for more of something. I like to order as soon as the server is giving us our water, so then I don't have to flag them down. :) We ordered galbi tang (9/10), ox knee bone soup (9/10), bulgogi dol-sot bibimbap (8.5/10), and bibim naengmyeon (9/10). My go to is the ox knee bone soup or the galbi tang because I like tendons and galbi. I really like the radish kimchi since it is a bit fermented, but if you like fresh kimchi, then the regular kimchi is good. If this is your first time, then sul lung tang is a classic (a must try) Parking: a personal parking lot that can fit like 16-18 cars. Inside: only like 9 tables and women and men bathrooms along with a togo section. But their service is pretty quick, so people are in and out Gloomy chilly day for some warm soup

Get the the galbi tang (beef shortrib soup) - it is their specialty and it is outstanding. We originally ordered the ox bone soup, and the lady looked at us and commented, in Korean, "So I see you're not going to order the dish that made us fameous?" Well, with a comment like that we had to get it - the galbi tang!! And yes it is outstanding. Short rib meat is soft, tendon is tender, soup is perfectly seasoned and rich amd hearty. Kimchee is đź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ťfresh and crunchy and exactly the way I love it!! I'm so glad I came here and had the galbi tang.

Great portions. Great tastes. I often order Galbi Tang and pork cutlet which are delicious. Their kimchi is the best. Don't try the cold Buckwheat noodles if you are not Korean, it tastes weird to me. Their parking lot challenges me all the time.

No need to repeat what others have said. But just my two cents—living in K-town, I don’t think there’s any need to drive all the way down to have this, there are comparable places in LA. If I lived nearby, I’d come here often. Portion are great, tastes great. Would I wait an hour or more for this? Nah. I recommend coming after the rush, like a late lunch at 2/2:30.

One of the first things I noticed even before entering the restaurant was the sign that said you can't take the leftover kimchi and take it home which I thought was funny cause why would they need to put up such a sign. We ended up ordering the yuk gae jang which was quite good and wasn't overly spicy. And my gf got the short rib soup which the meat was really really tender, yum! And after trying their kimchi I understand why they have the sign up, it's some good mild kimchi with notes of underlying sweetness which my gf agreed was quite good! This coming from a person who doesn't really like kimchi cause it's spicy most of the time, speaks volumes to the umami of this kimchi and why the sign. We enjoyed the meal on a nice cold morning so I would definitely come back for the soups and kimchi!

My boyfriend and I came here with friends for dinner last Saturday night. We were there around 5:30pm and it was a bit busy but it was less busy after 6pm. We appreciated that it had outdoor dining. The heat lamps were available (very warm). We ordered Galbi Tang (Korean beef short rib soup with green onions, #2 on the menu) and ox bone soup {beef soup with vermicelli & mixed meat (brisket, drop flank, & intestine), #1 on the menu}. Both dishes came with a bowl of steamed rice at this restaurant. Both soups were delicious with a good amount of meats. The meats were also tender and flavorful. The broth of ox bone soup was lighter. Their kimchi was also very fresh and delicious. The banchan (side dishes) were refilled without us having to ask for it first.

Great service! When we ordered they warned us about the amount and the taste to make sure we got the best experience. We definitely ordered too much, but they have great food. I recommend the ox knee sullungtang! They have great service for those who aren't used to eating Korean food, they tell you how it's eaten and what sauce is for which food when they bring it out to you.

Grateful to have this fantastic restaurant in Buena Park. Legit Korean food, their flavorful beef broth always hits the spot on a chilly post-rainy day. The restaurant offers only 14 items, and they do a great job with each of them. Their house special kimchis are made in-house or so I heard, and they taste better than what I can find at the supermarket. Menu item #1 seolleong-tang ($14.49) comes with a small bowl of steamed rice, vermicelli, green onions, meat choice, salt, and chili paste for seasonings. Another favorite #2 galbi-tang ($16.99) came with three pieces of beef short ribs, green onions, dry jujube topping, and a bowl of steamed rice. I didn't bother with the seasonings - it was great as is. You really can't go with any of their other choices; want something spicy, go with yukgaejang. There's dumpling soup, don katsu pork cutlet, cold noodles like kong guksu, bibim namgmyun, and mul naengmyun. Refer to the menu to find the photos and descriptions of the dishes. Recommend calling in because the prep time was 30 minutes during the dinner rush hour. Keep trying if no one picks up your call because they're super busy packaging the to-go orders while managing their dine-in customers. Online ordering is unavailable. There is no indoor dining yet, but the outdoor dining option is available with plenty of tables set up with the heating lamps nearby.

I always crave this. It's so bomb!! If you are anywhere near this you must stop by for some Beef Rib Soup (Galbi-Tang). Or try anything else on the menu, it's all so good!! My wife gets the Spicy Beef Soup (Yuk Gae Jung). The servers and owners are all really nice, always a wonderful experience here. Take-out and delivery are awesome too!

We ordered Bibimbap & Galbi Tang, both came out delicious. Not a fan of the sides though, they are too sour & not many options. Price is in the high side. For these 2 order came out to $39. Will we come back? this isn't our first time here, so the answer is Yes for sure.

Great place if you want hot Korean broth. Flavoring is great. The restaurant isn't a big place so be prepared to wait for a little bit. I order the dumpling soup. The dumpling were big. Which kind of made of for the lack amount of dumpling. Service was good and food came out quickly too. Definitely will be back soon!
