In case you are not aware, this location has a kick a$$ menudo on the weekends and after 5pm during the weekdays. Their food is always nostalgic, brings back childhood memories, their iconic bread is not the same anymore but their salad bar still has all the best toppings.
I had stopped going to Sizzler a long time ago, but we had a celebration to attend that was at Sizzler, so we went. I was pleasantly surprised. They had Rib Eye and New York strip on the menu. I caution, I have become a bit of a steak snob, so I cautiously ordered the Rib Eye past experience told me not to expect much. It was actually pretty good. (Not Flemming's or Ruth' Criss good) but good. The price is very reasonable. We did also come back another day to try the salad bar. That was not as good as the steak. The taco bar had basically chili for the taco meat, and then to get lettuce and cheese maybe avocado you had to go back through the salad bar. Put taco stuff with taco stuff.
This Sizzler is neat organized and clean. Associates are friendly and helpful. The salad bar is continuously stocked fully, items are fresh and delicious. The price is reasonable.

Got here when they just opened for lunch on a Friday. Ordered the unlimited salad bar. It is $13.99 Mondays to Fridays and $15.99 weekends. Did not get offered cheese toast. Service was mostly good. Restaurant is clean and in order.
They are out of wings for the time being so they temporarily replaced it with unlimited mini hot dogs and unlimited chicken nuggets. Would be nice if they had unlimited chicken tender bites instead. That'd be a nice temporary replacement.
The salad bar was yum. They had build your own salad and a few pre-made salads like macaroni salad, tuna pasta salad(sooo yummmmm), spinach salad, potato salad then the hot bar had chicken nuggets, mini corn dogs, tortilla chips, 3 different proteins; steak fajitas, carnitas, and ground beef, spaghetti with meatballs, mac and cheese, and hot tortillas. Salsa and guac are in the salad bar section. All in all, great lunch and it was quick! A few parties came after me and left. I stayed for a while and enjoyed every dish there was. Yum yum in tum tum! I definitely prefer this location over Fullerton. It's much nicer and very well kept. Service is wayyyy better! Good job Buena Park. I see now why you have such high ratings!
Food is sizzler. So expect what you’re buying. It was a trip down memory lane.
I bought the steak and all you can eat shrimp also bought unlimited salad.
Steak was cooked proper but was tough meat. Shrimp was a good size quantity of small fried shrimp with heavy bread coating
Soups were tasty but not much substance in them. Salad bar was fresh and cleanly maintained. Nice surprise with fried chicken wings nuggets and Asian chicken on the salad bar. I didn’t touch the pasta. Service was best I ever had. Jennifer was a mature professional. Room was at 80 percent she covered the entire room all night by herself. She checked on each table every ten minutes very courteous gave everyone refills on food and drinks. Cleared dirty extra dishes from each table as we ate. She was friendly and focus on her job. Highly recommend her service. She was the Highlight of my visit. And I’m commenting as a professional manager of the industry for 40 years
We stayed at the Fairfield Inn and just walked over here for dinner. I think we made a mistake by getting a meal and the buffet with it as that is just too much food. So, I would just get the salad bar next time. The server never refilled my drink, which definitely made me regret buying a drink at all, plus I was thirsty. The food was ok and I always love buffets because you can take the things that you like and everyone in your party can usually find something they like (i.e. less complaining). :-)
Surprisingly Sizzler is getting a lot better than they used to be and I didn't even know they were still in business! I ordered the steak and unlimited shrimp and it was fabulous! It was even better than Outback Steakhouse I kid you not.
I am very impressed by the outstanding service we received. Sizzler was friendly, attentive, and handled all our requests with utmost professionalism.
I hadn't been to sizzler in yrs and was kinda disappointed. They didn't have the chicken from the salad bar and not as many options as they us to have. But the clam chowder was really good and the cheese bread tasted exactly the same. Ill try them again just a different location
We used to have a good number of steakhouses. Now it's rare. At least in BC. Sizzler does a very good job with their steaks and their service. A good selection to choose from and customers will be pleased.
Excellent great service from the cashier to the waiter we had we went twice we love Sizzler and don't have them where we live anymore we were so excited to eat there still the best Amazing food steaks are so good and the Malibu chicken is my mom's favorite and you get the cheesy toasted bread they have the best salad bar you can get all you can eat its also great for kids too they have many kid items all you can eat also and a kids menu with steak is available good baked potatoes and a great dessert area we loved our food and our service I don't remember our waiters name we had him both times he is very nice I highly recommend eating there you will love it delicious. 5 Stars 🌟 +
My experience at the Sizzler was amazing the staff were super attentive and the manager kept bringing us bread and made sure we were happy. Ordered the steak and coconut shrimp special and our steaks were cooked to perfection and very flavorful they were moist and melted in your mouth the baked potatoes was fully loaded with butter sour cream and chives and the Coconut Shrimp was very fresh and delicious.
Ordered the steak and unlimited shrimp. Holy hell they give you lots of shrimp! Please sit in Hilda's section. She was the friendliest and most attentive!
Really loved this sizzler. I am a huge sizzler fan so I’m always trying out new sizzlers. This salad bar was great! Sunday afternoon they had breakfast (never seen that before on a sizzler salad bar).
Great food and good service! Just wasn’t offered cheesy bread!
