The food was really quite good, lucky find for some great Mexican food. Loved the jalapeño poppers. The kids meal was huge. However, we ended up waiting about 15 min after our meal for the check, not a huge deal but enough for the kiddos to break down. Would go back again though!
I would give 10 ⭐️ if I could. Everything was absolutely delicious. I've never had such flavorful sour cream! My teens were picking their plates. The Verde burrito was amazing.
We had a Mother's Day brunch. The margaritas where beyond spectacular! The food was exquisite. For the first time in years, I ATE IT ALL!!!! Great service, friendly! I live by Ft. Garland, but I will definitely make the trip again!

The food wasn't what I expected. It was bland and the enchiladas had not much in them. We had to wait to be seated, yet the place was nearly empty. Finally after about 3 minutes a guy came. (Stand in one spot for 3 min. as a customer). After we were seated the waitress chose to wrap napkins and other prep at a table in the corner, and engage in conversation with the other table who were finished, rather than to engage with us. We sat for about 10 min. before she came over to ask us if the "guy" took our order for drinks. Oh, the guy who thinks your helping us?....that guy? She saw us the entire time. Of course she knew. He was doing some heavy duty cleaning (trash, etc.) Not waiting on the only table that hasn't been helped yet. I got the feeling they were the only 2 employees not cooking and the customers at the other table were friends or something.
Lots of communication with them.....while we sat there. The waitress got a slight attitude when I asked if I could waiver from what a dish was on the menu. I said nevermind. She didn't apologize or even try to please. The food came out pretty fast. Which was understandable since there were very few ingredients or flavor.
They might have just been having an off day. I don't know. I haven't read any other reviews. For the good ones, if any, awesome you got them on a good day.
Great place to stop. I liked the food and decor. The manager and staff were on top of things. I liked the queso- they'll give you plenty! Rice was good and beans were decent. No complaints. Lots of items to choose from. My food came out pretty quick. It was busy when I was there, but not overly so. It appears the locals choose this place!
Party of 3, dined in, seated outside patio, nice views of mountains, delicious food. Friendly atmosphere and friendly service. 6+ stars. Highly recommended.
Authentic Mexican cuisine.
First time eating here and we were very impressed with the food and service. The jalapeño poppers were served wrapped in bacon and had amazing flavors (spicy!!). The portion sizes for the burritos were spot on for the pricing and quality ingredients/meat used. I would highly recommend others to this place in Buena Vista.
Haven't even gotten my main course but the chips are already having me sold. great food. 10/10
When we walked in on a Friday at about 530 there were plenty of tables. The food was a bit delayed however the taste made up for it. We were a party of 8 overlanding so it was a welcomed meal. Chimichunga with shredded beef, no sour or guacamole with Pico on the side was good. I did add some salsa from the chips. Dessert was the fried ice cream. I thought it was going to be an individual serving.. my gawd it came out with 8 spoons and we passed it around the table. Very good..
We had shrimp fajitas and they were ok but not sizzling like most places and the portion was a little bit small. We really liked the salsa but didn't get the cheese dip. We will return!
I wish I could give them 10 stars!!! We surprised the staff late in the evening with 19 people! (We are two families of 9 traveling through and needed some dinner for all our kids!!). The restaurant was so pretty inside. Service was outstanding. Everyone was SO friendly, SO nice and we felt incredibly welcomed!! The chips and salsa were great. And the food was excellent and came out so darn quickly! We are beyond thankful for such a great experience and will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Service was good. Food was not terrible but not great. Prices were reasonable for the area. Toilet was clogged and backed up in the mens bathroom, full of poo and unusable.
Was a really great place to go to. Food was awsome and you got chips and salsa to start you off.
