I thought I already left a review years ago. Looks like I didn't! We love this place, I have been going there for at least 10 years or so. My husband is from the Southwest and goes crazy for their green chile sauce. It reminds him of home. We even had our engagement party there. All of our guests still talk about how yummy it was and go there now themselves. The staff always treat us like family, and my inlaws loved it when they came for a visit last Summer. I could go for a Cadillac margarita right now, but sadly I'm at work hee hee.

I am a special education teacher and I had the pleasure of bringing my entire class through on a field trip. Both owners were there and were interacting with my students in such a positive manner. The owners son, Vinny, took us on a tour of the establishment while explaining job duties and expectations. He was friendly and interacted perfectly with my students by asking questions and allowing my students to ask questions as well. The food was fantastic and my students had seconds. We started off with their famous, homemade chips and salsa. Then we were served beef or chicken tacos with a side of rice or beans. Students were taught how to work the beverage station and truly enjoyed it. They talked about the experience for days. Many parents even spoke to me about the trip and inquired about going for dinner as a family. Thank you Gramma Mora’s for making my students feel welcome, gain knowledge and have an experience they will never forget!

The place is literally responsible for Rachel's exsistence. If there was no G Mora's there would be no Rachel. Great food, A+ service, excellent drinks and bartenders 🍹

I have to say the Mexican pizza and dinner we had on Friday night was Very Good!!! It was awesome to know that even though it was one of the busiest days for a Mexican place (Cinco de Mayo), the food was still superb! I could tell it was still authentic and fresh!! Cant wait to stop in again!!

Gramma Mora's food is authentic, fresh, and served right! The spices are right on, the meat is always fresh and not greasy. The beans, sopa, and rice are exquisite. If I can't make Mexican food when I want it, then this is my #1 choice for eating out! It is like eating my mother's food, never had a bad meal my Mom's either...and she is 92 years old today!!! We have been customers since they opened in the early '80's!

I've been coming here for 30 years. I miss the old place on Niagara but times change. I dont care what anyone says. I love it. Lorraine our usual waitress is so friendly, accommodating and funny af. We always enjoy our meals. Never had a bad experience. Will continue to come here. This place has the best green chili sauce in Buffalo. I also love the vinaigrette. I could drink it. Everything is so fresh and delicious.

My husband and I went to Gramma Mora's last Sunday evening, we haven't been there in a few years due to COVID, etc., but we've always loved their food. That evening they were very understaffed, but we didn't mind because we were not in a rush and on no schedule. The owner, Liz, kept coming over to apologize and let us know where our food was in the queue, and we let her know we were fine. In the meantime, a rude couple behind us who had eaten their entire meal, complained to the waitress and Liz went over to them and was much nicer than I would have ever been and gave them a huge discount. It takes a great person to be able to deal with people like that and she did an excellent job. When our food did arrive, we started eating it and realized it was close to what we had ordered, but not our exact order. When Liz came over to see how our meals were, we quietly told her it was delicious, but it wasn't what we had originally ordered, but that it was fine and thank you. Ten minutes later she came over with our real order and told us 'these are your original orders, they are on the house and take them home with you'!! We couldn't believe how generous that was of her, we offered to pay for both of them or at least one and she was insistent that she wanted us to have them for being so patient and kind. We left a large tip for her and walked out of there with great respect for this woman and this restaurant. On a day where she was truly exhausted and had to deal with some really rude people, she treated us better than we have ever been treated in most restaurants. If we could give this restaurant 10 stars, we would. Great job Gramma Mora's!!!

It's Cinco De Mayo... every Mexican spot in the city was out of control. It was busy the wait was long, our waitress never came to our table..well eventually she did but even with all of that. Our drinks were good, our food was good, once we brought it to their attention that we hadn't been serviced that changed immediately. On days like this it's crazy to expect a perfect outing... But it was good enough! Happy Cinco De Mayo...

We went for a friend's birthday, I can't give a better review. The service was AMAZING, everyone was so incredibly friendly and learned everyone's name and joked with us. The food was good and the margarita tubes put me in the perfect mood to celebrate. I've never been here before but this place is a must-go. Thank you guys so much for the amazing experience!

Delicious vegetarian options. Owners Charlie and Liz are very nice people who have created a family atmosphere. Everything is homemade. Charlie even makes his own chili powder for his sauces. The green chili sauce is perfectly spicy. I highly recommend the Weter Burrito dinner, named after Charlie's uncle Weter. The Bean Ranchero is also very good. My favorite dinner might be the Garden Plate Combination. So good! The Poncho Villa with beans is in a class by itself. There are even more vegetarian options on the menu! Gramma Mora's also has vegan and gluten free options available. For me, this restaurant is a safe haven in a city that is not very vegetarian friendly. Thank you Gramma Mora's!
