I have far too many reasons on why you should experience Senor Tequila on Pearl st. For one the staff is incredible, every single time I come here they make me feel amazing. I once called in and asked if they had pork chops on the menu. The owner Denise said not yet but if I were coming in she would have them for me. She sent her staff to the store, they waited in line, purchased them fresh and then cooked some of the most delicious pork chops I've ever had on the spot with 0 prep time. The food is delicious and truly authentic no matter what you order on the menu. I guarantee it will knock your socks off and this will become your new favorite spot. The atmosphere is beautiful and very welcoming. It's centrally located and right down the street from Shea's. I'm more and more impressed with this place each time I visit. P.S. Denise has the best damn queso in town. Honestly who thought a bowl of cheese could be so good. It's because Denise refuses to use cheap or low quality ingredients.
What a delicious and authentic meal. I got the Burrito de Carnita with a delicious verde sauce smothered on top. So tasty! I also had a chance to try a few (several) of the margaritas, I would highly recommend the Blueberry Pomegranate or the Passionfruit Margarita (on the rocks of course).
The real highlight of this restaurant, however, is the General Manager, Denise. She is the real deal when it comes to top-knotch customer service. She takes the time to actually talk to you, and is very passionate about her menu and restaurant. You will see and taste this when you take your first bite. I have been in the service industry my entire life, never have I had such a pleasant experience dining. She went in the kitchen and hand-made us an absolutely delicious fried ice-cream and coupled the dessert with wonderful conversation.
Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in the city of Buffalo. Will be back, and back, and back again. What an awesome experience. Everyone left in such a great mood and with smiles from ear to ear.
Food is AMAZING! Chorizo-queso dip is a must and the combo platter lets you get everything your craving for a steal. Mango margarita is the best! Def worth a visit.
Honestly, ate there tonight with some friends after hearing about this great New Mexican restaurant. Rumors are not wrong. The food is AMAZING. The service is AMAZING! They all work together to ensure the customers are happy. Honestly, you will leave this place and want to call it you’re new favorite restaurant. Every worker\server works incredibly hard together to provide the best service they possibly can. Best Mexican food I’ve had honestly ever & best service I think I’ve ever received and that says a lot coming from someone who has been a waitress/bartender for 8 years. Props to this restaurant and who ever is owning it, because you are killing it.
I have 3 words to say about this place... BEST GUACAMOLE EVER!!! I would definitely recommend this place. The strawberry margarita was delicious. Great waitress and staff. Go now!!!
Great food, fun atmosphere and excellent service!!! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to eat Mexican and enjoy a delicious margarita!
Beautifully renovated, delicious food, great customer service. The queso is amazing and the margaritas are out of this world. Great atmosphere! Great service! Will definitely be back and absolutely recommend.
The "camarones al mojo" was delish! I'm pretty sure that's what it was called lol. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the Bills game was easily visible from any of the tvs, although the Bills' offense was absent... Bottom line, everything was delicious, from the guac to the margaritas! I'll make sure to leave some room for flan on my next visit
My steak fajita quesadilla was awesome! We had an amazing waitress and hey huge corona drafts! Can't go wrong!
Great place. Excellent food with even better margaritas!
Congratulations Denise, we will be visiting again for sure.
I went here for lunch on a random tuesday. There was nobody else here. Service was good, as you would expect when you are the only person at the restaurant. Their computer had a couple of glitches but then the waitress was kind enough to comp me my pop. I ordered a ground beef burrito, but apparently the ground beef wasn't ready yet so they asked me if steak would be fine instead. Food was tasty. Not too expensive. I would eat here again.
Great Amazing Vibrant atmosphere the Night life in Buffalo isn't as Vibrant as it used to be but this place on a Friday or Saturday night especially during the late spring and summer is a great place to go and listen to some great Spanish music and Dance. The Security is on point and the establishment is well maintained overall it's just a great chill atmosphere to be in. I only gave it 4 stars because when I went it was too many young kidd there I prefer being around an older crowd but even with that the night was pretty peaceful and chill. I highly recommended to anyone visiting Buffalo from out of town you'll have a great time especially on a Saturday night during the summer there were pretty women all around.
We came here before Shea's theater. The food was amazing! The service was great. Or waitress was very attentive, and the food came out fast! They bring out chips and salsa when you first arrive. The salsa was really yummy. A little sweet at first, then a little heat kicks in, but definitely not too hot. We both ordered the chimichangas, with a side of rice, followed by churros for dessert. Again, the food was great! The portions were big. We will definitely be returning.
