Just had our anniversary dinner tonite here with family. A hidden gem indeed based on reviews I've checked. Tapas n Pizza were very good. Drinks were great. Wish we had Paella n some live music but Paella was available only on Thursday night. Musician guy was supposed to be here tonite but Mgr said- he was under d cloud. Overall, everything was very good n Staff was nice, friendly n attentive. Will definitely come back ! š
I couldnāt post any pictures even tho I have been here more than 3 times! The food is amazing, this is my family favorite spot, every single plate is amazing. The must try is the panela cheese, Iāve tried almost every plate on the many! Margaritas are awesome and I love the old fashion with the smoke! Great service and they know my family!
This restaurant was absolutely over-the-top wonderful. They had a saxophone player that was very very good so my husband and I were able to get in a few dances. The food was wonderful. Service was on target. We met the owner and she is a very nice lady and willing to take suggestions from customers.
Our first time here was amazing! The food was fabulous, the drinks were excellent, the ambiance was small and very chill. They had a saxophone, pianist, guitar playing duo that was amazing. We loved it and can't wait to go back.
Very good pick Yelp! Thanks again for helping us find a place for an amazing anniversary dinner! Food and service were great!
Fun, eclectic menu, good modern classic drink menu. Pleasant atmosphere, and a good staff. Busy Saturday night, service ran smooth, and everything was quite good.
I wish this place was closer to where I lived. Luckily, I get to come here every time I visit my friends. We most recently had the panela cheese appetizer, the pear and arugula pizza, and a few of their drinks. I've also had their chilaquiles for brunch. So far, I haven't been served anything at this place that wasn't delicious. I'll continue to come here on my visits and definitely recommend it to others. Plus, their patio is really nice, and they often have live music on the weekends.
This post is long overdue! My wife and I have been coming to The Verde the last 3 years!
Where to start, The Verde is a gem. Our initial experience was meeting Lou āThe bartenderā that is actually one of the owners. He made us feel like we were taken care of every time and we always look forward to bumping into him.
They have great margaritas to start along with other well crafted cocktails. They used to have the Pearl waffles but unfortunately do not serve them anymore (hopeful it can make a come back in the futureš).!
All of their beef are from locally grass fed cows. A lot of their menu is tapas (small plates). You canāt go wrong with any of the appetizers. Our personal favorite are the shishito peppers smothered in sriracha aioli and the Brussels sprouts. The pizzas are some of the most unique weāve had.
The wait staff has always been very kind and they make sure we are happy with our meals!
The Verde is one of the reasons we road trip out to San Antonio every month or two!
