I have been dining here (both eating in and ordering to go) since 1982, which should say something about my fondness for Full O' Life! Almost 35 years ago, I first learned of Full O' Life when I worked at a post-production house located several doors down from the restaurant. Each noon, I watched as the music editors sat at their editing benches, devouring sumptuous-looking entrees (free-range chicken, lamb, fish), usually accompanied by a bright orange yam that you could see from across the room. I had to order my own "to go" order, and I've been hooked ever since! (Please note that all "to go" orders carry an extra charge.) Full O' Life is a family-owned, health food restaurant, but that doesn't mean it just serves salads smothered with sprouts. What you see on its menu is fresh, organic, real food - stuffed chicken, lamb chops, red snapper dinner, turkey lasagna, chef's salad, ground meat tostada - each accompanied by one or more sides (a fresh vegetable, a salad topped with carrots or beets, yams or potatoes). Then if you desire, there might be fresh apple pie or pumpkin pie, or pear crunch for dessert. The restaurant's blue plate specials change each day. Full O' Life is located in a modest-looking storefront in Burbank's Magnolia Park. The dining area is adjacent to a small, busy market where you can buy groceries, organic produce, or health supplements (ask Clint to help you with the latter). The restaurant has a slew of loyal regulars (not just me!), some of whom are famous faces from the film industry. The ambience is like that of a small-town diner, except that the location is Burbank, and the food is fresh and healthy, as well as addictively delicious.

Plenty of parking. Great healthy food from an establishment that existed long, long before Whole Foods. Some of the grocery items and supplements are pricey, but I don't mind supporting a mom and pop.

Best tasting lunches the salad dressings are to live for! More organic choice than whole foods...the best produce...Wonderful selection in the market. Support local small businesses. Love Full O' Life!!!!!!!!!

I've been a customer for many years..I can't tell you how much Full o life means to me..and my family and friends! It's like the Nordstroms of Health Stores....if they just happen to not have something you are looking for...they order right away..and suggest something equally or even better in mean time..you are ALWAYS taken care of from the moment you walk through the door..but Never hoovered over:) and of course there's Clint!!! Wonderful..peaceful..knowledgeable Clint! I am always created by name..which is Soooooo rare and just adds to the whole shopping experience... I know I'm not the only one who feels this way about this store.but it sure feels great to feel a little spoiled and feel like your patronage is appreciated!

Such a great market for specialty health items. I like to eat at the cafe too. All are helpful and knowledgeable about supplements. Nice organic produce too.

FOL has always been an oasis in a sea of unhealthy Valley restaurants. From the week we moved to Burbank more than 15 2/2 yes ago, I've L-O-V-E-D eating and shopping at FOL. I have lived out of the area for 2 1/2 yrs and yet, just like today I drive out of my way for FOL. I've had countless biz lunches here and my pal Curtis and I eat at FOL all the time! It's kind of our dude-bobding place. Now, I just heard its days are literally numbered. FOL is tru lmk y 1 of the Valley's great Healthfood and consciousness portals.
