The Apple Uglies for which the bakery is famous were worth the 6 1/2 drive from Asheville. Think apple fritter on steroids, with ribbons of succulent apple pie filling, fragrant cinnamon, and a satisfying sugar-coated crunch. - I needed adult supervision in this place, ridiculously over-ordering an ugly, a cream-cheese frosting topped cinnamon roll, and TWO hand pies, blueberry and peach. The hand pies are easily 2-3 times the size of those puny Hostess jobs you see in the grocery store, and are blow-your-mind amazing. After enjoying parts of my purchase at breakfast, lunch and dinner, I still have half the ugly and a complete peach hand pie to devour tomorrow on the trip home.

Great stop for travelers coming back towards the mainland. Super easy to access alongside NC-12. The atmosphere was great, super cozy and the staff was super polite! The food was to DIE for. I got a chocolate donut, a burrito and a cinnamon roll, I’ll just let the picture of the burrito speak for itself (yes it’s as good as it looks). Would absolutely stop by again if I’m ever back in this area!!

We had the ugly apple fritter, it was amazing but also one could feed two people. It has real apples in it, it was super soft (airy) lite if you will. We all enjoyed it. They had a dark roast coffee that was good also. Get there early, the line started at before 6am. I am not kidding, no cap.

Apple ugly and cinnamon bun with cream cheese frosting are to die for. The Mando on a biscuit is perfect for breakfast on the beach. Hop across the road to Beads and Grinds for an iced latte. (They have hot brewed coffee only at Orange Blossom).

The breakfast sandwich we tried here was absolutely delicious! The homemade bread it was made on was wonderful and soft. We also tried an apple uggly which was very tasty. I gave them 4 stars simply because I like to go somewhere for breakfast and have everything there that I am looking for. While they offer some coffee and bottled drinks I prefer fresh juices and specialty coffees. That being said if you are just looking for a tasty breakfast option this is a good place for food.

This is our go to bakery for the lower outer banks. Always fresh and very tasty. The staff is friendly every time we visit. The fried pies and of course, the apple uglies are the best. If you haven't visited Orange Blossom you owe yourself a trip. But prepare to stand in a line during the season. Enjoy.

My cousin recommended this place while we were on vacation and I'm very happy with the experience. I tried a cream cheese danish and it BLEW MY MIND!! It was hands down the best danish I ever had. I also tried an Apple Ugly which was phenomenal. It was so enormous but it was great to cut up and share with everybody. You have to get there kinda early but I 100% recommend a trip to the Orange Blossom!! Also there is an adorable area outside to sit & eat, it felt like a paradise.

These Apple Uglies are giant and absolutely phenomenal. They are so soft on the inside and filled with apple chunks all throughout. And while the cinnamon rolls were great too, the highlight was the most delicious cream cheese icing you've ever tasted! We even tried the light and creamy icing on the Apple ugly and now I have I have a new favorite dessert to temp myself with when on vacation.
