I love finding little whole in the wall type places, they usually have the best foods. Simply Southern did not disappoint!! I got the hamburger steak special with collards and fried squash, and my son got chicken tenders and fries...AND the meals came with drinks. Our total was a little over $13!!!!! We were very pleased, and plan on going back one Friday evening for the all you can eat fried car fish.
I think they're a lot over the past year-and-a-half and not one time have I had my food be bad or not cooked the way I wanted it and the waitresses are fantastic they would take my mother's food out to the truck to her and help me because they see me walking on a cane and I'll never forget those people for that now that my mom's going I appreciate it even more
The first time I ever went to this place (5years ago), I was treated as if I was in the WRONG PLACE, I ordered my food and it never came, so I left.My, son asked me out for Valentine's dinner and wanted to come to this spot (his buddies & him walk over after practice alot to eat)...well needless to say my waitress was pleasant and the food was yummy...what little I had (my 14 soon to be 15 athletic son ate his, than mine) we had steak and cheese subs. The onion rings were a bit greasy but overall I enjoyed the atmosphere ��
One of my favorite places to eat. Burgers, wings, or home-style plates. Don't forget the deserts. Awesome prices and awesome food !

Easily my favorite place to eat, bar none! I haven't eaten anything here that I didn't like! I love the pork chops and the grilled chicken sandwich is huge and delicious! My biggest and only complaint would be that I have a hard time deciding what I want when I go because they have so many good things to eat! :-)
Excellent food and warm, efficient staff. New owner has done wonders to the place. Extremely clean and nice, but the best part is the quality of the food and affordable prices so you can enjoy their fares more often. I just had their salmon patty yesterday and it was one of the best ones I've ever had! I always have the chicken fingers because they are nice, large and juicy. The also have wonderful chicken wings in many delicious flavors! Their new addition of fried pies are AMAZING! I had their Pecan one yesterday and wished I had brought home 2 of them!! My server Chrissy is just amazing and the best! Just a wonderful, family oriented place where the local enjoy their fare and fellowship. Simply "Wonderful" Southern Restaurant! :) Try it, you won't regret it!
Super cute decor in the building! Excellent homemade food, huge portions and VERY reasonable prices. Friendly and informative staff. Our waitress, Salena was very attentive and welcoming. And the strawberry cheesecake fried pie was to DIE for! 😍
Hands down the best tasting philly cheese steak I've ever ate!Loved the owners great people loved the waitress very considerate to my needs. YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE your taste buds deserve it!
Simply Southern was slammed with customers this Friday at lunch as you would expect with great food and fast service.
This isn't a fast food drive through, so it took a little longer this time with lunch today. It is still fast though.
But I encourage anyone in the Sonoraville area to patronize this restaurant. Friendly servers and cooks. Well done guys and gals!
Best Fried Green Tomatoes around, yummm.
We eat here weekly. I live two miles away and it's so convenient to call in my order and pick it up when I don't feel like cooking. Our faves are the Lemon Pepper Wings, the Western Burger, the Chicken Finger plate, and the Fried Green Tomatoes. Great simple Southern food!!
This place used to have super good food and service, but now they’re just ok. The place is just kind of average, although it lacks a bit in cleanliness, the above average portions make up for it. If you haven’t been it’s a great place to try, but it lacks some of the appeal it used to.
