Had the prime rib...it was excellent. Not the best I've ever had but definitely in the top 10. Red skin massed potatoes were very flavorful and the union rings rock, very krispy and delicious. The service was excellent fast and friendly!!! My brudda got the fish n chips with fries and he said it was great except for the tartar sauce, he said it was rather bland but the waitress took it upon herself to put a new one together adding horse reddish sauce and such to add some flavor to it. Very attentive and helpful staff! I'd highly recommend anyone to stop in and enjoy a great meal and atmosphere.
We were passing through town and decided to try this place. It's off the beaten path for tourists, but it is well worth the few minutes extra to get here. The service was fantastic. After driving for six hours or so, it was nice to be greeted by the hostess with a smile. Our server was also upbeat and cheerful, and since we dropped in closer to closing time, I suspect that she was at the end of her shift. I had fish and chips, and my wife had glazed salmon with sweet potato fries. Top notch. I had a draft beer, but I think there was a full bar available if you are inclined. There is plenty of elbow room, inside and outdoor eating. Since it is tucked away in East Cambridge, the place has a truly local feel. Highly recommended.
I had an overall very nice experience here. I ordered my burger medium and it was well done. That's not ideal but also not the end of the world. The staff is friendly and attentive. The bread is to die for. The side of Mac & cheese was delicious if not a little small for a $5 side item. The fries and homemade chips are very good as well. The portion size of those are much better.
This place is a gem! We were traveling by and love real places that aren't chains. We were all very satisfied with the environment, food, drinks and service. That homemade bread was absolutely amazing. We all left very happy. Our only complaint is this place isn't closer to home so we could visit regularly!
We picked this as a stop while we were on a motorcycle trip and we were not disappointed. There were some unique food options and all were great. Service was wonderful as well. We ordered quite a variety of food items; the street corn nachos were amazing, the spicy cheese curds were okay (not really spicy), hot pretzel sticks with beer cheese were good, and the frog legs dinner my husband said was the best he'd ever had. For dessert we ordered the chocolate molten lava cake, which was very decadent, but does not have gooey chocolate truffle oozing out like it shows, but is extremely rich, moist, and served hot and very much worth the $5 they charge! Overall we will return when driving through again.
Celebrated a birthday here last week and the food was great. The service however was BEYOND great! Ten people, four of which were young, crazy kids. Our server was incredibly organized, got everything right and ensured we had everything we wanted.
She also checked with the parents before giving the kids everything they were asking for. She offered to give water as refills to their drinks instead of soda which may seem like an insignificant detail but really showed that she understood and perhaps even appreciated that their sodas were treat (hope that makes sense). When it was time for dessert she also made sure to discreetly offer it to the adults and not to the kids. We got dessert but thanks to her tactics, it was not a “free for all” and the kids didn’t have a chance at a melt down!
Overall, outstanding experience and will certainly be back!!!!
The food was pretty good and the margaritas were the best I've tasted in a while the service was pretty good
The food is amazing and the staff is friendly! Their fresh baked bread is amazing. I also loved that their steaks were served on a sizzling skillet. Yummy!
Dined on a Thursday evening and observed that this is a regular gathering place for folks. Many patrons had chosen to be seated in the spacious (conversation without imposing or eavesdropping on anyone) and comfortable (no banging into the adjacent table or chairs getting up or sitting down) outside dining area. We had never dined here before but had heard many good things. Very laid-back dining experience! Didn't feel rushed to eat and run. The egg roll and zucchini appetizers were excellent (asked for a spicy ranch sauce, no rebuke) and ordered the Walleye with broccoli and a side salad. The side salad arrived looking like an entrée. Fresh greens with all the trimmings and a wonderful Bleu cheese dressing. The Walleye was grilled to the right texture and not dry. The entire experience was enjoyable from being seated to paying the check. Every server was courteous and attentive, and the pace was perfect for our gathering. Oh, I nearly forgot that fresh bread was served upon seating to satiate those hunger pangs and begin a wonderful dinner. I'll be a regular here for sure!
Yummy Yummy for our Tummy. Free standing building. Outside patio and inside seating service as well. Enough parking spots for establishment but could use more spaces. Handicap parking and entrance accessibility ♿️. Limited but still nice sized indoor dining area. Can be served entres at bar and patio. Full service bar!!! Woodford, Knob Creek, limited drafts, canned IPA, mixed drinks and more! Scrumptious menu, with a beautiful selection to choose from. Appetizers, soups, seafood, steak, chicken, and other wonderful choices! We were delightfully surprised with our entrees. Food, service and atmosphere spectacular. Friendly and personable staff. Kitchen Chefs work hard, prepared well!!! Our server, Madie was the most sweet and wonderful server ever! Merci beaucoup mon ami ❤️ We were tickled by her professionalism, grace, smiles and service. We will request her again and again. All the servers were sweet, however, we are partial to our Madie lol 🤗 Food was scrumptious! David ordered a steak salad and onion rings. He loved his meal. I ordered a salmon ceasar (requested no croutons or dressing) and lobster bisque. Onoliciously flavorful salmon, cooked perfectly. Presentation could use some spark. I'd give more ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ if offered by Google. Highly recommend this awesome establishment. You will not be disappointed. We will be back most certainly! Bon appetite and Godspeed everyone!
This place is perfect if you want a quality dinner. The servers here are very attentive and friendly. The food is very reasonably priced for the amount and flavor that you get. I have been here four times now and have driven 45 minutes from my house just to come here. I can't say enough good things about this place and the people that work here.
We stopped in for lunch and sat down at the bar. We were immediately greeted and served drinks. We ordered drinks as well as food and all came out very quickly. Our food was delicious and the service was immaculate, even with the Veterans Day crowd. We were offered samples of multiple drinks and had great conversations with bartenders. I highly recommend this place!
I'd definitely enjoy working my way through this menu. Choosing a dinner option was difficult, but anything would have been a great choice.
We had a great experience. The food was excellent and not many places to get Walleye. Our daughter had steak that was cooked perfectly and my wife had fish and chip which she loved. Our server was very attentive and really took care of us. Absolutely worth the money and we will be back
I've traveled the U.S. extensively. Been to Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, and Mexico. I've eaten at many 5 star restaurants all over. The steak here was done perfectly. You know how you go to a good restaurant and your food comes out relatively hot, maybe? Not here. Served on a sizzling platter, which I highly recommend, I literally had to blow on each bite before I could partake and every bite was like the first. Both my wife and I agreed. This was one of our all time best meals. Kudos to the chef and many thanks to our server. Great dinner. Well be back... Often!
Central Station Steak and Ale was delicious! We got grilled chicken and frog legs! First time we seen frog legs on a menu in a very long time! They were cooked perfectly! The menu includes sandwiches and burgers in addition to steaks and chicken. The bread is so good and it comes complimentary. They also offer desserts but unfortunately we were too full to try them. The Mac and cheese was very good as well! We will definitely be visiting again!
Brisket was great, sweet potatoe fries with the sweet sauce, chips, the aged steak was great. They had an amazing deal on crab legs, the butter was great and different from the bread butter.
Oh and the bread app was great too!
Maddie was our server. She was very kind and answered all our questions and took her time with us and made it personable . Great experience off the highway
Nice place. Great menu variety. My ribeye was perfect. They also have key lime pie... How can you go wrong with that!?! The pretzel app is tiny...so you lost a star. 2 pretzel sticks, cut in half, with cheese for 10$. Ouch. Waitress was great. Will come again.
I called on Thursday to see if they could serve roughly 30 people after a family gathering on Saturday… minutes later I was told they could and would be honored to host it…
We arrived and everything was nicely set up, the server “AMY” was all smiles and totally professional. The food (appetizers, main courses, and drinks were served quickly and professionally.
In conclusion, great food, service and prices!!!
