Absolutely fantastic service and food! Having a large party including a child with special needs, Dennis and the entire staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was very quick and delicious. Rhe portions were very generous. And the rolls were warm and fresh! The server was super polite and very attentive. This was our first trip to Bellevue Tavern and it certainly won't be our last. Thank you for everything! !
I recently used the Bellevue's upstairs room for my rehearsal dinner and let me tell you everything was absolutely perfect. Dennis and jr were so welcoming and helpful from start to finish. The room was gorgeous and all of the food was delicious. I got nothing but compliments from my whole party. Most importantly Dennis made it more about the evening then the business. He and his son talked to everybody and made sure everything was going well. They were there whenever we needed something or had any questions. Very well run family business that I would recommend to anybody from just going to dinner to booking an event with them. Thank you guys! Will come for dinner soon
I was on the 2nd floor DJing a private party this past Saturday (2/4/17) a surprise 60th Birthday. It was my 1st time there and I was pleasantly surprised by how big the space was with a great dance floor. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was excellent. Thank to the owner Dennis & his son Dennis; you guys are running a 1st class operation.

Had to go out on an emergency call and got done late. Called in for a Reuben sandwich and fries. Order was ready on time and plenty of it. Have had dinner there many times and have never had a bad meal. Great place for locals and tourists. Great French Onion soup as well!
My colleague treated me to lunch here because I 'had to' try the Memphis Chipotle Burger and he was right! What an amazing burger! Although the structure of the burger wasn't unusual in terms of the ingredients, the quality of the meat itself was outstanding! The sweet potato fries were also crisp and delicious! A surprise treat was the chicken noodles soup as it was pepper-forward and contained a generous portion of tender chicken. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere and clean restrooms all made for a wonderful experience!

A favorite place to visit when in the Cape May County Area. Food and service always top notch. Visited Friday evening with a party of three and lucked out and was able to get a table fairly quickly. They do take reservations so if you go during peak season, highly recommend you take advantage of a quick call to secure your table.
I took advantage of their daily special and ordered the Seafood Marinara (scallops, shrimp, crab and mussels in a homemade marinara sauce served over linguine topped with shaved Reggiano) and complimented it with an Angry Osprey IPA from Slacktide Brewery. My meal came with a side salad and a basket of bread also was served.
We also ordered the Margherita Flatbread Pizza (Roasted tomatoes, garlic, basil and mozzarella baked on a flatbread with an olive oil base) as well as a Bellevue Burger
(Fresh ground sirloin burger with
lettuce and tomato.)
All in all, a great meal after a busy day of traveling and settling in. I never had a bad experience and always enjoy returning.
Came for late lunch and was surprised at how busy it was. We were able to get seated right away, however, and our table was clean, menus were clean and drink orders taken right away. I got a meatball sub that was full and delicious, and not overstuffed or too messy. That can ruin a meatball sub, imo. Prices are affordable and food was fresh, even the lettuce on the veggie burger which can often be overlooked. Crisp pickles! Ample parking around the back. Desserts were tasty!
Stopped in for lunch today and we enjoyed our visit. Before I talk about the food, I must say they had the cleanest glassware and silverware I have ever seen for an establishment of this type.
The calamari appetizer was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The Cape May Scallops were grit free and wrapped in crispy bacon. The grilled Ruben was cooked to perfection with a nice amount of corned beef and the Turkey Avacado Club wrap was filled with fresh turkey, avacado and crispy bacon. The personal pizza had a soft crust which my daughter really enjoyed.
We can't wait to come back and have a go at the dinner menu.
Our Waitress, I think her name was Abby, was extremely nice and fast despite it being a very busy Saturday night. Helped us clean a spill and brought us boxes and the check early since we were in a rush. The watermelon cocktail was very delicious, as well as the fish and chips. Good portion sizes also.
My family, a party of 16, went following a celebration of life ceremony. We called as we were on our way to make reservation 😬. They had tables all set for us when we arrived 10 minutes later. Service was spot on. Everyone enjoyed their food choices which ranged from soup, appetizers and sandwich. I highly recommend the Bellevue Tavern

Went here for the first time this last week. Open late, so that is very nice. Still busy late. Our waitress was terrific even though she had a lot of tables. I had the bacon wrap scallops and the french onion soup and my wife had the crab cakes. Top, top quality on all 3.
Food was great. We were there during a lunch rush and there was a luncheon upstairs the staff was fantastic even though they were super busy. Our waitress did a wonderful job taking care of all the tables.
I had fish and chips and steamed dumplings for an appetizer. Everything was good. The service and the atmosphere were very nice. I enjoy coming here.
My family enjoyed every minute of it. And they couldn’t stop talking about how great the food tasted.

Went after a trip to the Cape May Zoo. Had 5 in the party but had to split booths: just a little cozy. My daughter talked me into the Godfather and it was a excellent choice. Not the biggest sandwich, but one one of the best tasting I've had. Hostess was attentive, waitress was as well. Waitress was fast, friendly and mistake free.
The Bellevue was recommended to me and it is a terrific laid back Tavern with really good food and service. The soup was delicious and the Turkey sandwich was fresh and real Turkey. It was really good. My server was Jen she never missed a beat. A big plus was the list of oldie Rock music had all of us singing the songs!!!’
Small bar seemed like mostly locals. Cold beer, good food. It's much cheaper than the fancy bar down the street.
We were looking for a place to eat where the locals eat. We were very satisfied with our food and service. We will definitely go there again...!
We arrived around 9 pm in Cape May Courthouse for the weekend last week and the place we stayed recommended the Bellevue as it was open a little later than other places. We popped over there shortly after that and had a great meal and drinks. Our server was friendly and attentive.
