Took my Father for his Birthday and everything was great. Everything we ordered was wonderful, not one complaint. If I had one thing to improve on was the lighting. My Father had a little hard time reading the menu. But other than that it was a great experience. đź‘Ť

First: MAKE A RESERVATION if you want to eat in the dining area. They do not allow walk ins, even IF the reservation app says there are reservations available. The pretentious gentleman host alerted us that even through the app had reservations available at 5, 5:15. 5:30, and 5:45, there were no walk ins allowed and there were "no available reservations". We were just about to walk out when he casually said "you can try sitting at the bar - they have a full dinner menu there." Thank Thor he said that, because we had an *incredible* time sitting at the bar. Jim, the blonde woman bartender, and young Matt were so friendly and attentive! The lighting was bright and fun, the company was outstanding, and the three bartenders were fully engaged and responsive to us. We had the Crab Soup (I'd give this 10 stars if I could!!), the Watermelon Salad special (very tasty, full 5 stars), and the Rigatoni, which was super tasty. Our drinks were full, our bellies were full, and then the most amazing musician set up in the bar area and starting singing Elton John songs in the most beautiful voice and all the piano skills! And NOBODY in the dining room could hear this fabulous musician! We were basically privately serenaded! So -- this review went from zero stars, to 1 star because of the host, to 5 stars because of the bar staff, food, and music. Hands down, awesome. Just, be sure to sit at the bar and skip the dining area if you don't have a reservation or you'll never know what you're missing.

Secondo Panicos is U Do It approved! Mrs U Do It and I celebrated our 25th anniversary here and it was wonderful! We arrived for our resetvation 15 minutes early and we had drinks at the bar while we waited for them to open for dining. Our waitress was super friendly. We had calamari and fried mozzerella for the first course. We love it here!

The food was delicious. For the appetizer we had crab balls followed by our dinners which included pizzas for the girls, Maui Maui for me covered in crab meat and a chicken Parm for my buddy. The music was so loud that you couldn’t hear yourself chew much less have a conversation with anybody including the waiter who by the way was very efficient but somewhat difficult to understand as he was new to our a great land. Perhaps if the speakers weren’t turned up so loud On the gent playing the keyboard outside. With 10 less decibels in the dining room I think five stars would’ve been in order.

Four of us went & each had delicious entrees! Tasty salads & bread too. The problem was how backed up the waiter was although it appeared he had many tables. Might be lack of help? The food is delicious. Recommend it for that reason but after 2 hours we were clearly ready to leave! Parking was an issue too. They did take reservations.

Phenomenal! Ignore the terrible reviews and go here (ask for Taylor for a guarantee of great service). My husband and I were vacationing in Cape May and looking for a great date night spot, Secondo’s menu enticed us immediately and we booked a reservation. Shortly after reserving, I started looking at reviews and came across multiple HORRIBLE reviews..we went back and forth on whether to cancel our reservation and I’m so glad we decided to keep it and go for dinner! We had an 8:15 reservation but decided to stop in around 7:45 to grab a cocktail and the beautifully appointed outdoor bar. We each had a delicious cocktail, fig cocktail for my hubby and a strawberry margarita for myself. Right on the dot at 8:15 we were seated at an adorable outdoor table..perfect ambience! Great live music also! Our server Taylor was phenomenal. We had the antipasto platter as an appetizer which was sizable and would be great for a family of 4. My husband ordered the lamb chops for his entree and I had the cavatappi with grilled shrimp. Both were amazing! Well done Secondo! We will most certain be retuning.

Our first time visiting during our annual Wildwood Crest vacation. We visited twice and enjoyed the delicious food and great service. Live music and comfy bar area.

Amazing dinning experience. The dinner fare is top notch and the atmosphere is very nice with available outdoor seating with entertainment as well. Setting is on a wharf of the back bay and adds to the ambiance. Our server "Jeff" was outstanding which is why he naturally got 30%. I would have given it 5 stars if the dining room seats were more comfortable, wooded seats do not make for comfortable dining.

My daughter found this restaurant after getting off the Ferry ride! All I can say is the food was so good. Hot fresh focaccia bread with garlic & herb infused olive oil. Just delicious!! My husband had salmon with a potato pancake my children order pizza. No complaints from my kids and they can get very picky! Let me just say.. my food was Amazing! I ordered Eggplant with Peso sauce. Whewwwww!! Every bite was so delicious. Great outside service for social distance! Perfect view! Great service. I would recommend and come back again. Happy 2 hours drive home.

Definitely make reservations. My family came for dinner here twice in the last two months. Both times at 8:30 in the evening and we sat outside. The first time I came without children the second time we brought them with us. The first time the service was phenomenal. The second time I felt the service was a lacking the same appeal. The server seems less attentive and moody. I asked about a kids menu and got a “no” with no follow up. Then I asked about some suggestions for smaller portion options and got a sigh, eye roll and a “nope”. Perhaps some of the staff need some basic service personality training. The restaurant is beautiful the patio is clean and the fire place adds a nice touch. The owner should remove the broken chairs and replace them. It looks tacky. The live music was good. He played a nice variety of music however the house music in between the sets of the musician doesn’t go with the atmosphere at all. Perhaps some Sinatra or Tony Bennett (like your sign when we first walk in). Food is very good. The crab cakes are delicious. They are tiny like small meatballs. The mahi mahi with crab filling is delicious. Sadly it came with rice which was bland and needed flavor. The two pencil thin asparagus were delicious but two? It would be nice to have at least 5-6. They have a bar pizza that is delicious but not on the menu if you sit at a table however you can still get it outside. The truffle mushroom burrata is a must have is so good and comes with focaccia. The only thing I wish is that it was bigger and came with more mushrooms. Suggestions for the owner. As a visual learner I would love a print out of the specials. I hate hearing the server quickly rattle off the specials especially from a cranky person. As a mother with children and understanding you mostly cater to adults however you should still have a menu for children. You can do it easily with items you already make just smaller portions (and prices). For example my kids love petite filet mignon, salmon, small Cesar salad, small plain pizza, sides can be asparagus/broccoli/green beans. They also have palates that are still forming so put the fancy sauces on the side. Lastly, and this is a matter of personal preference. My family noticed one of the young employees was dressed in a bra top which is more suited to go to a club rather than serve in a restaurant and the music didn’t match the restaurant. She was distracting and inappropriate.

Food was excellent. Portion size was actually pretty large. Filet was cooked to perfection. Focaccia was phenomenal. Crispy salmon was great as well. Loved the laid back atmosphere.
